Hate to say it, but these don't make me feel any better about the signing. He stayed healthy, that is a good thing for our team sure. 3rd in SH time on a team where 4 or maybe 5 D-men play on the SH isn't impressive, especially when the Wings were middle of the pack for killing penalties, and Quincey lead the team with 88 penalty minutes. Not to mention his atrocious 0.13 ppg, compared to his 0.40 ppg with COL/LAK. He flat-out doesn't fit in with this club. That's why he hasn't had the production here that he did with other teams. I really do believe he's hurting Smith as a partner too. Watch whenever Smith wants to jump into the play, Quincey will try to do the same and they'll both get caught out of position.

TSN reporting we signed Kevin Porter for 1 year, no money reported yet. Local guy, not sure what to think about it yet. Not a full 60, but definitely played clutch when it counted. Glad they won tonight, and looking forward to the chemistry continuing to form with the new guys in the lineup.

I'll go 3-1 Wings on this one. Weiss gets the 2nd or 3rd goal and Steve Ott tries something stupid.

I've been playing fantasy hockey on Yahoo for years and never have I been denied access to renew my league in August, let alone look at previous stats and the like. This leads me to question, are they taking their time in starting up the new fantasy season - or are they done offering their fantasy hockey services?

For some reason, I see Schneider tearing it up in the regular season and eventually getting the nod for the 3rd spot, with Quick and Howard as 1 and 2, respectively. Miller was great in 2010, but just isn't happy in Buffalo and his play shows it IMO.

Anyone know what was said? I saw the highlights but don't remember much chanting, and also don't speak Russian (though if someone finds it, my brother can translate).

Aside from the world wide league idea, this all just reminds me of the XFL.

I'm playing the whole friggin season this year, no matter what! And it's kinda funny that this site has the Jets + current logo but still have old logos for Anaheim/Buffalo/etc., even call them the Mighty Ducks still

Make sure you turn it inside-out before putting it in the dryer, forgot exactly why (for the crest maybe?) but you're supposed to from what I've heard. Works for me
