i wouldnt count on it going up that high ......i wouldnt mind having the extra cash lieing around , that way we can get rid of our bonus's this year and then give a raise to cleary,filppula and grigoreno next year and have no worries , maybe if lidstrom plans to stay at least 2 more years kenny can convince lidstrom to an offer of 10 million for the 2008-2009 season and then sign another contract for the season after that when lidstrom gets his big bucks for 3 million , averages out to 6.5 per season and we wont have any problems when zetterberg gets the bucks

we cant get him anyways cause of zetterbergs new deal coming but if a team like the oilers really wanted penner burke would be really screwed ..........he'd have to give getzlaf and perry the same .......beauchemin kunitz and pahlsson are all making 600 000 or less so the ducks soon enough will be dishing out the big bucks + they already have giggy and pronger making the cash and bertuzzi and schneider as well , if the oilers sent that same deal to the ducks penner would be theres as we speak

hudler wont be traded , at least not anytime soon........penner is out of the question now with rafalski datsyuk lidstrom totalling 20.3 million and zetterberg coming up in 2 yrs. penner would have to be offered at least a 4-5 million range salary on a longterm deal to even have a shot , we do that and were screwed unless we beg lidstrom to take a paycut in 2 yrs lol. maybe if were lucky somehow fit him in for 10 million and then the next season give him 2 when its zetterbergs first year into his new deal so lidstrom's salary only counts as 2 million .......but again i doubt it since we got other players due for raises
