the way these players are getting raises vishnevski would get at least 2.5 .........trade lilja for a pick and thats only -1.5 to our current budget we got lidstrom visnevski rafalski kronwall lebda chelios meech ( cant be waived) split lidstrom and rafalski so we got one of the 2 on the ice at all times sounds good to me or we can trade meech for a pick and put lilja (im sure hed like that ) as the 7th d , and go -2 mill from our current budget left keep meech and that leaves us with 6.5 mill . - 2.5 for hasek that leaves us with 4 million for a forward

sanderson is useless in this deal , sure pitkanen is good but lupul can get 30 + and smith gives a nice physical defensemen in the back, i like this trade for philly all the way .......... briere , lupul, upshall,carter,richards,knuble,gagne .......flyers are gonna be good

sanderson is 35 and got 11 goals last season , hes done if you ask me pitkanen is good but philly got lupul who can and im sure will get 25-30 goals, oilers gave up on him too quickly and jason smith was the oilers captain and a physical d man

i agree with you that they wont resign another d man ( which sucks cause we got no real physical defensemen) i do have this guy feeling that bertuzzi wont come back , and i heard some ppl say jason blake but i do think hes 34 and im not to sure if he did anything before last year so ill pass , id rather go for a guy like guerin who will also be a shorter term deal if we lose bertuzzi
