OK I tend to cool down after walking away from my computer for a few minutes. Fillpula is young and will get better every season with experience. Plus Lang got way more Ice time than Flip......and probly shouldn't have. I love your sig by the way, but doesn't Drake bring back some of that toughness your wanting?

Thats comparing apples to oranges. They don't expect Drake to replace Lang. If Drake doesn't lead the league in give aways than its an improvement. How many more goals could The RedWings have scored if Lang could hold on to the PUCK or god forbid, win a face off? Drake isn't supposed to score he's supposed to BANG HEADS!

Lang was number 3 in the league for Give aways. And probably last in take aways. Without him every one else's scoring will go up. It wont be hard to beat those numbers.

OK I'm as confused as a one legged man in a butt kicking contest. This guy basically is a washed up, never been an offensive player, almost 39. But he's a hammer. The Wings will look like a bunch of wussies with out some one like him. He will supply gritt and toughness, and add some fear to the game, but he's not a very good hockey player any more. Only time will tell. Many players have come to Detroit and revitalized their careers, (Larry Murphy) we can't change it so lets wait and see what happens.

I know his numbers haven't been great but Comrie would fill Langs skates easily, but for that price I'd rather have Peca. Sopel on D or Markov wasn't bad either but Berard is considerably cheaper and could be the heavey weight we need.

i have difficulty putting that much faith in Kronwall Quincey and Kindl. These are young inexperienced guys. Dont expect them to deliver in the play offs.
