I think these are good ideas for trophies. The Paul Kariya Award - The Biggest Sissy of the season. The Mike Ricci Award - The Ugliest player Award. The Jamie McLennan Trophy - The worst Cheap shot of the post-season. The Keith Tkachuk Award - The most over paid player of the season.

Dont even know if he's an FA or not but would like to see Mike Greir in the Winged Wheel. He was San Joses' best player during the play offs and he delivers gritt in dump trucks.

The problem I have with this D-Corps. is that Kindl though showing great potential has never played an NHL game let alone a play off game. Quincey played well last year but at a limited role. Kronwall has been injured too much to have very much needed experience. Sorry I can't see hanging our play off hopes on Kindl and Quincey. One or two good players wont win anything in the post-season.

There are very few rivalries left in the league. I've been saying it for years, go back to the Campbell and Whales Conference and Norris Division days. No longer bound by geography but tradition. Age old rivalries could then be restored. Chicago, Toronto, going way back, Montreal. They could draw the lines where ever the FANS want them. (OK maybe NOT!) Think about the Rangers and the Kings being in the same conference with Dallas Minnesota....... I love this idea.

I too was reather confused until I looked at the posting date. If we resign Bert Lapointe would cost too much. But if not we need to consider him, on a one year deal he'd have to perform to get a big contract later. Plus he's always been a playoff performer and has scored some clutch goals in his day too.

What do I want to see from Bertuzzi? Opponents flying through the air and up against the boards and pucks in the nets while goalies run for their lives of course!

Kronwall could be the pick on but I think if he ever plays a whole season and gets the experience he needs he'll be great. Most likely it'll be Sammy even though he is great at times too.

Detroit did suck 20-30 years ago and then some one who knew how to win took the team and look at them now. But Boston hasn'thad that happen to them yet.

I have never played. I never learned to skate very well. That is where my fascination with the sport comes from. Its amazing to me what these guys can do on skates with out falling down.. When I say such n such a player sucks its a comparison to others or a remark about their attitude or work ethic. Any one of these guys could play circles around me. Of course they're NHLers so thats probably true for any of us. Thats my story and I'm stickin' to it. ....and how do I get it to stop quoting in my replies?

I would agree! Especially for Kozlov I loved him when he played here. Yanic Perrault has been one of the best face off men in the league for while now. He would be good too. I can't help but notice that Adam Foote is a Free Agent too.
