ummm 6 mil a year?? didnt schneider want something like 5.75??? guess it makes sense if he wants to play for the ducks who are a stronger team.

imo, bertuzzi has no business asking for more money... hes been out of the game for a while and hasnt proven s*** with the wings. Schneider, yea maybe, but wuts the deal with bertz, is he just full of himself?

we need tough guys. the "finesse-forwards" approach hasnt worked all too well.

dammit i hate this situation. I want to see schneids back, but then we need physical forwards, but then we're losing a great scoring defenseman... decisions decisions.

i think we need hasek. Hes been awesome in the playoffs, theres no doubt about that. Its a really tough one between schneider and bertuzzi. Schneider has been incredible the past couple years, but hes getting older (38). Bertuzzi is only 32 and could stick around for a while but im a bit worried about him. He had a big suspension and back surgery so he's been out of the game for a while, although his last season with the canucks wasnt too shabby with 25 goals and 71 points. I just dont want him to turn out like Cujo or Hatcher...

well if hes demanding more money, he better put on a damn good performance this year

Dave seems like a great guy and all, but he just doesnt do well in the head possition. After about one and a half seasons with detroit i was hoping they'd cut him loose. on the other hand, babcock seems to be doing a great job.

its a tough one. I have a bad feeling about bertuzzi. yea maybe he wasnt 100% in the playoffs, but he reminds me of robitaille hatcher and lang, players who came to detroit with high expectations and didnt meet them. Then again, they could use some physical presence in the playoffs. I wish they could keep schneider. if they lose him its gonna be a huge blow to the team, especially on the power play. I think they need to keep Schneider and Hasek. berts seems like a liability.
