That would scare me most in the playoffs. It seems that every playoff run the Wings run into some nobody goalie who plays out of his mind. It just wouldn't be the playoffs without one of those goalies going deep it seems.

Didn't Toronto go something like 9-0 to start the season this year? I'd also like to point out that while Pittsburgh and Detroit have both played relatively weak teams the last 12 games or so, Detroit has had multiple back-to-backs and hardly any rest. Has Pittsburgh played a similar schedule?

I want to see an original 6 matchup. Right now I don't think any rivalries match the intensity of those. Since the league seems to hate advertising Canadian teams, we won't see a Toronto/Montreal vs. Detroit, sadly. I'd love to see NYR take on Detroit as well. But who are we kidding? Only the Pens get repeat appearances.

I don't get all the hate about 3D. It's not the '50s "jump out at you" 3D, it's an immersive environment, at least when done right (ala Avatar). That kind of 3D is awesome and I think everything should be broadcast like that before too long, it paves the way for holographic viewing. It just adds so much depth to everything. That being said, it won't catch on until the glasses-less TVs come out next year and even then until they go down in price and more stuff is offered in 3D.

I want to see Osgood get another consecutive start, and then go 50/50 with Howard. Osgood needs to get into a groove, we know Howard can pop back in at any time and play fine, so now that Ozzie had a great game, let's see if he has more in the tank before going back to Howard.

Awesome concept, but I have to wonder if only a handful of people (10 maybe, only semi-exaggerating) actually have everthing they need to see the game in 3D.

Yet you found away to complain about him. At any rate he had some HUGE, legitimately huge saves. Awesome game by Osgood and it's got to be a confidence booster, even if NJ isn't an amazing team. He could have blown it. The Wings SHOULD have beaten them, and they did, and that's something positive to take from it.

That really bothered me to be honest. Not only is it stupid (though funny in movies), in real life it just made them look like thugs jumping unsuspecting bystanders. I actually felt bad for the opposing players who all just dropped to the ice, caught off guard. Nothing cool about assaulting someone for the fun of it. That's what gangs do. EDIT: It would be different if there was some high intensity rivalry and something led to it, but that video looked purely like a hit job.

I would love for Ozzie to get his 399th, and then get another start to make it an even 400!!!

It showed confidence and balls, yeah. But it would have been cooler if the spin-o-rama had actually affected the goal, and his shot was pretty weak. But for entertainment value it was good.

We don't have a need to be filled. We have our scorers, playmakers, grinders, offensive defensemen, defensive defensemen, and two quality goalies (Osgood has shown signs of his old self, if only he could play more). Most of them are proven playoff warriors. I don't see what else we need? I'd like to get rid of Hudler but realistically there's nothing we could get for him.

No, but you're not going to win many games when you're goalie gives up 4+ goals a game, either. The whole team has looked flat but Howard has had a terrible two game stretch. Not the end of the world, and I"m not a goalie basher, but let's call a spade a spade here.

Man, this sucks...I haven't noticed anyone playing well. Everyone has been sort of invisible. Every time they try to get something going the puck gets deflected.

Hudler better start justifying his presence. If I were Miller, Draper and Eaves I'd be a little irritated that he keeps getting put in. Too bad we couldn't get anything decent in a trade, looks like we'll lose him for nothing when his contract is up.

Haha, I hadn't thought of that. Honestly, the words are extraordinarily close. Your lips only have to get slightly lazy when talking (which can happen when you talk a lot) and suddenly "white" can come out instead of "right."

I want the record to show I'm not a goalie basher, but I think Howard cost us this game. Most of those goals could have and should have been stopped. The two on one sucked, but the rest weren't tricky shots.

It is a money grab. They even change their unnecessary third jerseys every year. If the Wings had to have one it should be the Winter Classic. Even that, though, I'd rather preserve only for future Winter Classic appearances.

I have faith in Ozzie. But he always gets stuck with the games where the defense forgets to show up. Make it easy on him, guys!

So. Effing. Sexy. That's exactly what I want. $600 is cheap, but by the time I have enough money to buy a house with a nice room that can be converted into a man cave, I'd have enough to blow $600 on that. Then again, by that time something like would cost $20,000, haha.

I've looked into this in the past because I thought it'd be awesome to have one. However it doesn't seem that any place will do it because of trademark infringment. I don't really see why they would care. How would the NHL even find out if they did it for a couple customers now and again?

Why not? He's got serious discipline problems, but in an ideal world we could get him to work the 3rd line. You're saying you wouldn't want Doan as a third liner?
