I wouldn't trust Lebda as a stick boy.
-
I think this is the game that marks the beginning of the end of Lebda's career with the Wings. I'm sure Holland is calling people as we speak to see who needs a "fast, puck moving defenseman."
-
Holy crap, Lebda....Lebda...words can't describe....you're lucky nobody in Detroit knows who you are, I bet. Imagine if Detroit were Montreal.
-
I don't think Ozzie wanted to be on the ice after that 3rd goal. His whole attitude juts oozes annoyance and carelessness at this point. I imagine he's pissed.
-
Lebda in the box...this could either guarantee a goal, or guarantee a non-goal since he won't be on the ice.
-
Chill out. Why do you even come to these boards anymore?

Somebody find me a brick wall to bash my head against.

Those Viagara commercials are amusing.

#100!

We don't know how long Williams will be out for. But like I said before, this team is lacking an impact player. We're waiting for one to develop while they're dropping like flies. I honestly think Holland is planning something, we've seen him react to these situations before.
-
I'm seriously thinking now, I wonder who Holland will bring in soon?
-
Haha, yeah, like we need another injury. I say Holland moves for an impact player. We're a team of role players right now, even Datsyuk and Zetterberg. Talented role players, yes, but we're lacking any real difference maker this season. I imagine we'll see a few players moved to bring in a fairly big name, not another role player.
-
I heard "one on one vs. Brett Lebda" and I about vomited. Even though no goal was scored, that comination of words is terrifying.
-
Well, if Williams is out for a while, I'm pretty sure he's dreaming up a trade right about now. Ideally I'm sure he aws holding out until later in the season but with these ridiculous injuries, it's becoming a necessity. With the way the team is playing lately, I don't think we can simply count on an AHLer to fill the roles and turn the team around.
-
I'm tired of every other team we play having the future of goaltending. It seems like every team in the league has a "hot goalie" when they play the Wings.
-
Can't say that's a terrible inconvenience though.
-
Are you ******* kidding me? When will the injuries stop!
-
Guys...this sucks really bad, yes. But after witnessing their two huge comebacks (though one was a shootout loss), I can't say this game is over. I just can't. Even if the Wings win, they need to get it together.
-
Did we just witnessed a SHORTHANDED three on two against the freaking Wings?

Andy Strickland: "Wings and 'Hawks lead Forsberg race"

That and what does Forsberg provide us that we don't already have? Sure, he's still got talent but he's so injury prone he'd be useless. Where would he fit on this team? -
I assumed it was.

He never said anything about hating Detroit. Hate can change. He said he'd never play for Detroit ot of respect for the historic rivalry, which is something that is far less likely to change. Even at the right price, Forsberg is not worth it. He's the only player I can think of that is guaranteed to suffer a long term injury at a crucial time. Even for cheap, he'd be a waste of money. -

Complete and total BS, for several reasons: 1) Forsberg has already stated he will never play for Detroit under any circumstances because he feels it would be a slap in the face of the great traditional rivalry between Colorado and Detroit. 2) The last thing the Wings need is another injury-prone forward. -
Most of those players are on the team in NHL 10, and since I was drafted by Phoenix taht's the team I played for in the AHL. Playing for Phoenix sucked, but playing on San Antonio was fun. We mopped up. Of course, that's not real so it doesn't help this discussion much, heh.
