Ozzie's been one of our best players, especially against Anaheim. He kept the Wings in those games, made some absolutely monster saves, and I would argue even stole one of the early Anaheim games.

What an amazing game. I can't recall anything as exciting last year. I almost wasn't sure it actually happened. What a relief to have Anaheim out of the way! And withuot our top line performing. I hope they don't underestimate what comes next, though. After all, this was only the 2nd round. Don't underestimate Chicago. They're young, they're hungry, and they have it out for the Wings. Should be a great series. But I think the NHL should really be thanking us for doing away with that embarassment that is the Anaheim Ducks. All the "7s" about this game were crazy though. 7th game 7 at the Joe, 7 goals scored, etc., etc. Excited for Chicago, disappointing I'll start missing most of the games again due to work. Lame.

Tonight is the most important game since 2002, yes. Being the only other Game 7 we've played since indicates taht. But on top of all that, pride is at stake, and as someone else mentioned, this is Good vs. Evil. Good will prevail.

Good refs, motivation, and good ice in front of a home crowd in a must-win game? That all adds up to Wings awesomeness. Let's go Wings!

I would love to see Ozzie get a sucker punch in on Pronger. Yeah, it's classless, but it'd feel SOOOOOO good.

I think what's scary is that the Wings have pushed Anaheim to the brink withuot their top players producing. And, hopefully the Wings can finish them off, with or without our top line.

Goals or not, Datsyuk is above criticism in my book. The guy is one of the greatest hockey players in the world. He shows up. This is clearly some bizarre drought that can't be explained by him simply choking. I have a feeling though that, since this series has been a storybook battle, it's going to have a massive climax, with Datsyuk exploding to top off the "feel good" victory of Good over Evil.

What do you all think will happen tomorrow? I'm not talking "Who will win?" but how will game 6 affect the Wings? Pavel looked really frustrated after that scrum after Game 6. Will it light a fire under his ass and rally the team? Or will the frustration cause them to make mistakes and get in their heads? In short, was the scrum intentional on the part of Anaheim to rattle Detroit? Or will Detroit bounce back with good ice at the Joe and something to play for and come out firing on all cylinders? Me, I'm not sure. I have a good feeling the Wings will win, but I'm really looking forward to seeing how the team starts the first period.

Mitch Albom doesn't even watch hockey. He just has contacts tell him when there's a story in which he can repeat the same line a million times with slight alterations.

Datsyuk is going to explode tomorrow, either by hitting the crap otu of everyone or by scoring a bunch of goals. He has had enough and he's going to show it.

I have a good feeling about tomorrow's game, to be honest. I felt really good before Game 5 yet really uneasy at Game 6, so hopefully the pattern continues. I think the good Wings team will show up. Stay out of the box and crash ANaheim's net. Play hard and wear Anaheim down. Don't play conservative. Hammer them. Who cares if we give up 8 goals so long as we score 9.

You do realize the WIngs have been hitting just as well as the Ducks, right? I guess we should waste a roster space on a fighter when clearly we're having trouble scoring. That makes a lot of sense.

People...Datsyuk has been one of the hardest working Wings. In order to put up points regularly he needs to have people get near the net. So far, the WIngs have only bothered to grab rebounds in two games. Sure, Datsyuk can be amazing and walk through a teams defense, but not every single shift, game in and game out, especially against a one year removed Cup champion team that smothers whoever comes in the zone. What exactly is Datsyuk to do when they climb on his back? There's no Wing to pass to, or if there is, it's through four Anaheim players. HJe's not a choker.

You guys....this sucks, but don't act like this should never have gone 7. From the very beginning most of us knew it would go 6 or 7 and be brutally fought. it's in the history between the Ducks and Wings. Nothing in this series has been surprising. The Ducks generally get lucky bounces when their ice is bad, the Wings generally get goals disallowed or things like quick whistles called against them. I won't ***** too much about the penalties, but the non-calls were ******* ridiculous. On the bright side, Detroit will show up for Game 7. On the down side, so will Anaheim.

He's more frustrated than I've ever seen him. Game 7 against Anaheim doesn't sound good, considering how the refs have called thsi series.

I didn't see any *******, I only saw players shooting to the side and over the net from the blue line. Wow, I'm really upset. Not only does Anaheim have great odds of winning this series but I'll miss the game that will decide whether my favorite sports team keeps playing this year. Not to mention the game will be epic.

What are they getting waved out for? I don't understand faceoff rules. Seems fishy.

Any time the Wings get a braek, Sammy is the guy carrying the puck all series. He's the only player I see consistently out there, which boggles my mind. It's like he's always out there. And when he's playing with Zetterberg, why does Sammy always shoot the puck? Seriously?

I noticed those "quick calls" the refs claimed they needed back in Game 3 aren't important anymore. Anyways, the Wings will coem back from this. We've seen stranger things happen. Time for the Wings to storm back, baby! Epic 3rd to cap off an epic series!

Datsyuk and Zetterberg have both had chances, but lost the puck at the very last second bceause of a poke check or someone clipped them and threw them off balance. Helm has been a beast, though. I have a feeling he's going to score a clutch goal, followed by Franzen.
