Club record FOR A SERIES. Not the entire playoffs that I know of. Just imagine if Franzen can keep this up. I'd say it's unlikely and impossible but who would've thought he'd have a multi-point games for for of the last quarter of the season and playoffs?

Well, that's because half of the people at the Pepsi Center were Wings fans, and only like 10% of the the fans at the Joe are foreign. So yeah, if Detroit lost there'd be more empty seats but it wouldn't reflect much. It seemed like most of the Colorado totally bailed on the Avs, except for that one goal.

I hate how they make it sound like we played half of Colorado. Until tonight they were only missing like two players a game. It was just that the players constantly rotated injuries. And you know, injuries are part of the game. Detroit destroyed them like they should destroy. Before anyone makes excuses for Colorado they should realize this series that Detroit didn't HAVE to beat them this bad. Colorado still could've made a series out of it, even with injuries, but they didn't. I'd say Colorado still had talent available on par with Nashville and look at what Nashville did. No excuses. Now, I'm getting excited, but let's not get cocky again. Let the euphoria wear off and realize the next round is NOT going to be this easy.

It's been like that since Game 1 I think! It's great to see Franzens' name up there with Sakic and Jagr for the fastest to 10 goals in the playoffs in the record books. Anyone else think this shuold be a "Message game" to Dallas? The Wings need to keep scoring and tearing Colorado apart to intimidate Dallas a little. This is the worst shellacking in the playoffs so far of any team, isn't it?

I missed the first half of the games. Have some of you forgotten the motto: Show no mercy! Leave no doubt! Keep scoring goals and don't let off of Colorado! Theyu're an AHL team and you should beat them like one. Don't give any chances.

Tonight is the hardest game of the series (except for any later games). The Wings hopefully aren't as cocky as we've been. With 7 defensemen the Wings probably won't score so many goals, but it also means less goals for Colorado (hopefully). If Colorado steals any games it's this one. Hopefully Detroit realizes how hard completing a sweep is, Colorado is going to come out DESPERATE.

No asterisk necessary. The Wings are doing what a team of their talent should do to an injured team. Every team has bad luck. No refs or injuries necessary to beat the Avs. I especially hate the ref argument because the terrible calls (and non-calls) have gone both ways pretty evenly this series.

Doesn't Kronner lead all defensemen in points? There's so much praise to go around, this team is playing exceptionally well. My only complaints is one or two bad plays by Rafalski and Chelios and Filpulla looking lost every time he's on the ice.

I like Sundin's loyalty, but I hope he retires. His era is over and the Leafs need a fresh start.

My two cents: A small Wings logo should be put on the shirt somewhere, just to give it a little bit of context.

You know, I wouldn't mind Hasek signing here again. The only problem being that he'd take up space that Howard could play. Hasek will probably retire though, thus saving us the debate.

Each year under Babcock has shown a steady, noticeable improvement. I say the Wings should just keep flying under the radar all the way to the Cup. The Dallas series (assuming we beat Colorado) is going to be insane. I know very little about them this year, are they playing extremely physical? Either way that sereis has potential to go the distance.

This sucks. FSD does such a great job and VS does....well...such a terrible job. I just hope I can tolerate the announcners for the rest of the run.

Exactly. And I think it's fair to say now, since we'll most likely eliminate Colorado at some point, that the image of Detroit being a playoff choker can go out the window? Two consecutive trips to the Conference Finals? Hopefully next year we won't hear the repetitive "Detroit won't make it out of first round" garbage.

If Detroit and Dallas both sweep, then the "rusty" argument goes out the window. They'll both be starting from scratch so a sweep is okay with me.

That matchup looks interesting to me, too, though I'd still rather play Montreal for tradition's sake. Although I think a Detroit-Penguins matchup would signal the first of many Finals appearances between the two future juggernauts of the league.

It's been a long time since the Wings have been up 3-0. What a great feeling! Takes a lot of the pressure off. How many teams come back from an 0-3 deficit to win? Not many. Here's hoping for a sweep!

No sitting back! I think though that the Wings learned their lesson after Game 1. Full 60 minutes!

Datsyuk looks even more awesome 4 on 4. Give that guy room to skate and he will tear you apart. I really want a Datsyuk hat trick.
