Damn. Well, I think this has sparked something in other teams, like Anaheim hunting for Sundin. That means we HAVE to get Hossa now. And damn, I just can't get over how great of a hoax that was. Insanely detailed.

Kronwall has stayed healthier than normal this year, which makes me think he's conditioning himself a little better.

Yeah, I don't know how being the best player on the Griffins means he's not ready for the NHL. I understand he needs to continue his conditioning, but it seems to me he's a step ahead of any other Griffin not named Howard or Quincey.

Well, if he's making a move on Sundin (which is probably just a baseless rumor), then he must be thinking Detroit is getting Hossa, considering the events of last night and the suddenness of Burke's offer.

I think McCarty's role is more one to drive the other players. He isn't the player he used to be, but he sure has heart, and I do beleive that he could improve Draper and Maltby's play by changing their style a little bit.

Yeah, Facebook Fill is probably best. That way, it refers to the charactero n facebook, and bypasses the problem of whether or not it's legit.

Beautiful analogy there. I totally agree. The rivalry was one of the greatest (in my opinion, being a biased hockey fan, THE greatest) events in all sports history. We'll never see anything quite like it again. In the meantime I can enjoy the rivalry with Anaheim.

Tomorrow could be a great day for Wings fans. The arrival of Marian Hossa and a contract with Darren McCarty? Who knows if Holland has anythign else up his sleeve?! As for the hoax aspect, yeah. It could really be Filpulla's, andh e's just playing a prank on someone, but who knwos. This is an awful lot of work to go to for a prank. I've never seen anything this scale done before, especially for a little known hockey player.

As hard as I've been on Sammy, I'd rather have it be Kopecky and Flip. Hossa would more than make up for their loss. The loss of Sammy, a decent third and second liner? That might hurt.

If it truly is Flip for Hossa, straight up, it's one of the biggest steals in a long time. Not to belittle Flip.

Actually, rumor has it that Hossa wouldn't be a rental, he'd be long-term, which, as I understand it, is one of the stipulations on the side of the WIngs. They're only willing to take Hossa as a long-term solution.

Only one person thought that that might be true. Everyone else jumped all over it immediately. Some people are gullible though, but this facebook thing...man...I hope I"m not gullible, but I am intrigued because of that picture. If it's a fraud, it's a damn good one. Best one I've ever seen and I've been around many of this imposter situations.
