Game 1, Ill admit the officiating was equally bad. This game was just BAD. I cant wait to hear Babcocks post game press conference.

We are very lucky to be tied after that period. Hopefully we come out a lot better for the second period. At the same time, the refs are too much apart of this game. Swollow the damn whistle unless its a legit penalty.

I would imagine that if Nick went to Kenny telling him he's tired and needs time off but would like to come back later on in the regular season that Kenny would oblige. With that being said, I agree that this scenerio is unlikely to occur. Just something to think about, and would allow us to potentially pick up another top 6 forward or top 4 defenseman.

Why is everyone so happy about Chicago getting worked? Vancouver is a VERY VERY tough team. I've been saying this for a while, I want no part of them. Chicago on the other hand, is fraudulent. I am confident the wings can take care of the hawks but not so confident about the canucks.

I wont complain that the Wings were screwed by the refs, however I will say the refs were too involved for both teams. Regarding your quote, you just described Sentiguchi committing a penalty. You are responsible for your stick even if you are falling.

Agreed. As much as I will rag on Rafalski, Id take him over Boyle. Defense for Detroit could potentially be a huge advantage in this series... potentially.

If you arent and dont, Mike Valenti is a polarizing talk show host. You either love him or hate him. I usually like him but I hate the blog he just wrote. Even though I realize that if the Canandians win, Pittsburgh most likely walks in the ECFs, I still find myself pulling for the Habs. I just cant help it.
