Nabokov looks like Osgood out there.

Now we got some suspect officiating again. Of course it's the NHL official making a terrible call, complete idiocy.
-
Moving Rafalski down could be beneficial, but that Stuart Rafalski paring could also be catastrophic. Think Ericsson Lebda, only more salary.

To be fair I think that whole trio of idiots stink. The constant man crushing and guy part slurping that peeyou and Edsblow do is nauseating. That act like world would end if a microsecond of time passed where they didn't fill the air with noise. Kinda like the girls that wear too much makeup, less is more. Anyone wanting a truly awesome game watching experience, just cut out the center channel on the surround sound and watch the game with just the arena and ice sounds. Free of the circus act, biases, and over analyzing absurdity that broadcasting has become.

Zetterberg the best swede in nhl, accoring to Team Sweden players

Glad He knows he needs to be a whole lot better when he gets back. Not earning his salary this season so far IMO. -
Yes he is Look he seems like a real nice guy. I like his excitement and passion for the game. I just can't stand the way he speaks in retard sentences, non hockey terms. He uses so many dumb phrases that he easily gets behind the play by two or three plays. I mean WTF is the point of a play by play man that can't keep up with the play? The game is too fast for his style of mouth mumbo jumbo. For Gods sake I want to know who has the puck now not who "twisted it along" at the other end of the ice. He reminds of another retard by the name of John Keating. The guy has a mouthful of stupid and takes 10 second pauses trying to gather himself before he can finish a sentence. He's so irritating I can't even watch his segments.

I think it's important to point out that this is the first year I can remember that the USA has had this much talent in Goal. We've had some good teams in the past, but suspect goaltending IMO. Goaltending is a hugh factor in these tournaments. Look what the Swiss almost did with a bunch of grinders and Hiller. -

True but he has been in the ear of the officials all game long. At one point I thought he was trying to give the ref a wet willy! -

What's with all the poor sportsmanship? Acting like spoiled brats. It's all the usual suspects as well. All we need now is an Iginla meltdown and some Pronger physics and we'll be all set. -

USA defense needs to make better decisions coming out of their zone. Not going to mount any offense just getting it out and going to the bench. -

Getzlaugh is a cheap bum, always looking to cheap shot someone. I think he's the long lost brother of Donger. Rafalski is finally getting his shot through. Hopefully that continues after the olympics are over. -

Doc Emrick is such a brutal announcer. He's always miles behind the play because he constructing nonsensical, incoherent sentences. Jesus Christ man just tell us who has the puck. It's not radio we can see the play. What do you get when you cross a retard with a hockey play by play announcer?....... Doc Emrick. -
I'm pretty sure the guy meant he'd take a 3 million dollar pay cut, not that he'd make 3 million. I think anyone would take nick for 4.5, but I'm not so sure he's going to be willing to take less than Rafalski. He's a much better player still and will be next year also.

I liked how the Swiss players kept trying to knock his chicklets out!
-
Yeah the people that should really be ridiculed are the ones that kept coming on here saying the guy wasn't NHL material before the season started. Those people need to seriously question whether they have any understanding of the game at all. You simply can't accurately gauge what a young player will do in this league until he's had a consistent opportunity.
-
I'd be concerned that keeping him a year too long would cost us a player like Ritola and that would be a shame. We all know what happened when we kept Chelios a year too long
-
Holy s*** a victory! Like a sampling of the sacred fruit.

Would it kill the guy to finish a check in the attacking zone instead of curling away every time? Honest question. Eaves checks harder than he does. He makes a lot of boneheaded plays. He takes silly penalties, some of which I think are more reputation calls though. If he played a harder north, south game he would be so much better and more valuable and he'd even make more money for himself and his family. It is what it is, at least his skating is much improved since his first go here. Maybe he'll play playoff hockey once the playoffs begin, assuming we're in of course.
