He plays the game of a little skilled player. The problem is he's a big body that should play like a power forward like Franzen. Every team thinks he will play the way they covet, but he won't. He has just enough flashes to tease you, but in the end you'll be disappointed. This season, for the money it's hard to criticize him much. If they sign him for a couple more seasons after this, they will be sorry and he will be the number one whipping boy around here. The new "Lazy and sucks" of LGW.

Not many teams are going to be able to have scoring depth on the 3rd line with the salary cap, including the wings. Hell a lot of teams have trouble making 2 scoring lines. Hello parity.

If your going to trade flip, then you better be getting back a young, big, right handed goal scorer or forgetaboutit.

It's so frustrating when Bert peels off instead of making the check. He needs to play a much smarter, harder game. Always trying to play fancy with spins and over handling. Looking at those numbers Kronwall is the most impressive at even strength, while Playing with second tier forwards. To be fair his sample size is much smaller. IMO is you switched Stuart and Rafalski's position it would be Rafalski with those bad numbers. He makes a ton of questionable decisions with the puck that Lids, Dats, Zets, Howie help him with.

Babcock would probably play another goalie some games if he had one, but he doesn't. He has no confidence in Osgood at all nor does the rest of the coaching staff, obviously. While were at it let's have Maltby replace Datsyuk in the lineup. That makes about as much sense.

I'm not a Willy fan at all, the guy is too soft to be of any value. If he were traded it would make no difference. I'm so sick of seeing these little D men getting cycled to death in our own zone. They get hemmed in, get gassed, crawl back to the bench. WTF is the point? Every time it forces the forwards to come down deep to get the puck out so they never get to play any offense. That's why the shots against are so high. Game after game all year long it's the same thing. Cycled into oblivion in our end, get a change, repeat. They're not any better at moving the puck than big players anyway. It's B.S Please Kenny say goodbye to them. I'd move Lebda and Meech and waive May. Lilja, Janik, Tole, anyone that is not 5'1" would be better served to stop the cycle and get the puck out in a timely fashion.I can't believe our front office guys can't see whats going on. Because Stuart is already logging big minutes at even strength and killing penalties. He's been looking terrible lately, he needs less minutes not more. Ericsson would look good on the PP IMO, but it would be stupid to reward him with PP time when he needs to get his defensive game in order.

L.A. offered prospects (Schenn, Teubert, Moller and a 1st)and Waddell wouldn't budge from wanting one of Brown, Johnson or Simmonds. Anyone else think this was a much better offer? This obsession to get a couple roster players instead was retarded IMO. Surely the organization knows even if they make it in the playoffs, it's a one and done situation? I understand how Waddell keeps his job. I mean if Kenny all of a sudden traded Zetterberg I'd want that package from L.A instead of the one from the Devils. Stuart gets into trouble when he doesn't keep his game simple. Lately he's been trying to block passes in the crease, knock down shots as they go to the net , make passes that are too risky etc. I think all of our Defensemen should put their back to a mirror and see what it says on the jersey. If it doesn't say Lidstrom on the back, then you need to simplify your game. Play sound position, play the body in front, make smart, simple play's etc. Simple as that really. Every time a goal goes in lately it seems Stuart or Ericsson is doing something retarded in front of the net. Rafalski's numbers would be just as awful if he played on the 3rd pair IMO. Lebda and Meech are much either, hopefully Lebda can be moved now.

3-5 years ago this might have made sense. Now? He plays softer than Williams and is not going to help us. He's not going to be effective at even strength in the top 6. Not suited for a role in the bottom 6. So what's the point? Some of you guys don't watch other games around this league. A big NO THANKS!
