Some supposed insider from another forum said Management had a closed door meeting with Chris to let him know they weren't going to go through it again this season. Also to make sure he hadn't fallen off the wagon again. It looks like ti had the proper effect.

He's got zero compete level with a severe case of the Langitis without the skills. Someone said he was better than Sammy? He can't even spell Sammy.

It's too early to cast Jimmy IMO. However he needs to be a bit more composed in there. He looked like he was breakdancing in goal the other night. If he can't get it done though, I think Biron would be very good here. I like his size and style. He would be in the hunt for a lot of shutouts IMO, like Conkiln was.

Well what do ya know? They looked like a hockey team finally. I though Stuart played a real good game. He was very tough along the wall and behind the net. The team seemed to play as a unit finally and didn't really let much get to Osgood. He looked a little shaky at the start of the game but settled in and did the job. Helm's line was very good, I love the speed. He's going to gt some shorties this season with that speed. Please don't take Eaves out, he's starting to look like an NHL player. I still can't figure out why everyone on this team just ices the puck for fun. I mean they should realize by now you must get to center eh? I'm glad non of those icings came back to bite us. All in all a great effort. If they play like this consistently, they'll be fine.

How can anyone not like Filppula? I wish we could clone a few more of him. He might be overpaid for the amount of offense he's producing to this point, but his overall game is a real asset to this team.

This ^ The only players Babcock will send a message to are rookies and 4th line bums. He needs to send a message to the players that are paid to make this team go.

This team needs some breaks to go their way in this period. C'mon hockey god's how about letting ours go in off the post this period. It would be nice for Howard to get the win out of this one.

I'll go out on a limb here and guess that we will lose every game this year in which we only score 1 goal. No matter who's in net.

Our problem seems to me that all 3 of our bottom Defenseman Ericsson, Lebda and Meech need to be paired with a stay at home type that plays a safe game. Obviously Lilja would be a good fit, but it just doesn't look like he's ever going to be playing again. That's the first move I'd make right now if I was Holland. Obviously were not moving Ericsson so get rid of those tiny so called puck movers and get us someone with size who plays with some pugnacity and evil intention's.

Jiri will be back after he's done collecting all his Russian rubles. Then all the internet tough guys will piss and moan as he quietly puts points on the board and helps his team win games.

Agreed. I did not like that second goal that went in, but he was good enough. I'd like him to get another start soon so maybe he can get a rhythm going. That's what seemed to happen every time he got called up in the past, no goal support. I can't believe the PP was that s***ty. This year is getting scary pretty fast. Ken Holland said he wanted 3 victories on this road trip. How about 1 kenny?
