Another thing too is maybe it's better for the players to play under different coaches. The Wings are all used to Babcock, but now some of our guys are playing with coaches who maybe have a different perspective on things and can try something new.

This part really bothered me. You can just tell they are going out of their way to talk about Crosby. When he makes a great play, yeah talk all you want. When you're showing the landscape outside, leave him out of it.

Why? How do you know women don't want to hit if they were given the chance? What's the difference to the kids if mom gets injured or dad gets injured? Either way, it's a parent getting hurt and it is hard on the kids. Obviously pregnant women shouldn't be hitting, but what about everyone else? If mom gets a concussion maybe dad can drop the kids off at school tomorrow and take care of dinner. I think putting hitting into women's hockey would even up the game a little bit. Right now, certain teams can win on just skill alone, but if everyone is hitting and playing more physically then it becomes a little harder.

Now if the Winter Olympics were in Vegas...I'm sure he would be all over that.

It's NBC so are we really surprised. I turned on my TV in the middle of the second intermission last night after I got home and the third word I hear is Crosby. NBC loves to suck Crosby's balls, and the NHL loves to suck NBC's balls. Therefore the NHL also likes to suck Crosby's balls. I mean, what is every single game of the week on NBC? It's either: -Big Bad Old Red Wings vs. Pens -Pens vs. Caps (Will Ovechkin ever beat Crosby?) -Pens vs. Flyers (Division rivals that are just NEVER good enough to beat the Pens at anything important) -Red Wings vs. Blackhawks (NBC's second favorite team and backup plan in case the Pens don't make it far in the playoffs) and then occasionally they will throw in the Rangers. I know there are new Crosby threads like every week here, but I don't get why people are getting so mad about it. Isn't the point of an internet forum to vent your frustrations and share opinions? No one pointed a gun at anyone's head and forced them to read it. Some of you guys act like what people say on the internet is a huge deal and the end of the world.

So my mom, dad, and brother got 4 tickets for tonight's game. I am a little less than 2 hours away at school but don't have Friday classes. So I told my mom I could make it home in time after my class that gets out at 4:30 and she told me not to come because the roads are bad...so she gave the extra ticket away. Sooo disappointed, but GO WINGS!

Maybe this year all the fans can learn the Glee parts so we can change it up a little...

The only issue here is that all of the Canadian teams would be in the same conference. Maybe it's not the end of the world, but it would definitely take away 50% of Canada's chances of reaching the finals.

It's about damn time.

I know we did this last year for game 7 against the Ducks and it worked. And I know this isn't an official playoff game, but it might as well be. So let's all try to say something nice about the Nashville Predators. I like that the Preds use 20 players on their roster for each game.

I'll be working during this one, so I'll have to watch it with no sound. But since it's on NBC I think no sound is the better option. Just please get the W.

Remember last year when we all watched San Jose games anxiously with intense fear that we would not win the conference? I miss those days.
