Now let's watch all the Hawks fans get off on beating an AHL team. Let them be excited about it because when we get our lineup back, we can laugh at their surprise.

I believe a Christmas miracle is in sore for us.

I understand that Osgood didn't completely lose the game for us, but I'm so sick and tired of him giving up bad goals when we all know what he is capable of. I think it's sad that most of us are more confident in our rookie goaltender than our proven championship-winning veteran. Also, I'm a little disappointed in Datsyuk. I know I expect a lot out of him as a fan, but it's times like this when he needs to step up and give it a little extra. He does wear the "A" after all.

Then how long is it gonna take?

I am so sick and tired of Osgood. We know he is capable of being superstar in the playoffs. So why does he seem to take the regular season off? I'm sick of him slacking off this year. And yes, I believe he is slacking off because it's not like he's incapable of winning games. I mean we did watch him in the last two postseasons.

The problem with this is there are only six Canadian teams and 24 American teams. This means that every Canadian team would play in a Winter Classic every three years, so it could kind of get old to see these teams over and over again while we have to wait for the American teams to all rotate. We are one league. Why not have Canada and the United States participate in the annual Winter Classic?

What if some of these "ugly sweater" fans are actually just wearing these sweaters because they like them? Or if someone's mother knitted the sweater and then is watching the pregame right now?

I don't like the idea of having 2. It's making it less rare and special. Why do we need a separate one for the USA and Canada? We are one league so let's share. How fun would it be too to have a US vs. Canada winter classic one year?

Phoenix is going? LOL. It must be nice for them to play in front of more than 100 people in Europe.

No. There is no history. There is no competition so far when it comes to playoffs. No one here really cares about the Preds at all. I see them as the little brother. A rivalry needs history between the teams. The Colorado rivalry is something I can look back on and tell my kids about. The Lemieux hit on Draper, the brawl, Statue of Liberty goal, WCF Game 7, stuff like that. I mean there was even a South Park episode sort of related to it. Even our two smaller rivalries of this decade have had some history. With the Ducks, we all remember losing in 07 to them, Perry telling Datsyuk that he's gonna get it, when Pronger and Niedermayer teamed up to put Homer's face through the glass. But this is all pretty much over and settled since Pronger is not in Anaheim anymore. And I consider the Wings and Pens to have a mini rivalry since they have had the history of the two previous playoff years and we seem to have a mutual hate for each other. The Preds are not like this. We just happen to be in the same division. Every game is pretty much a normal game. Maybe when they start beating us in the playoffs or something memorable happens, then we can talk about it.

I prefer not worrying about playoffs

He has really come a long way. I remember last year and the year before when he would let in 4 or 5 goals per game. He seemed unable to recover and way too nervous. Now he seems really mature and composed and confident. I am very happy.

Intent to blow the whistle is a joke. How about do your job and then have your whistle ready and actually blow it? A goaltender has the intent to make the save, so does that mean a goal shouldn't count because he intended on catching the puck? All players who shoot have intent to score. Does that mean they should get the goal every time they shoot? I intend to get 100% on all of my final exams this week. I guess that's the same thing as actually getting 100%. I should tell my profs that. I hope to see this rule gone soon. Or at least make Toronto's replays able to trump intent to blow. Right now it's the other way around and that's stupid. Video replay should trump every time. Or each coach should get one challenge per game.

For the sake of me being able to sleep tonight so I can study for finals please get the W.

Do you think these guys are rushing it because of all the injuries and they wanna help the team out? I hope they will e 100% ready to go by then.

Living, breathing, has a pulse, bones all connected to each other. That sounds like what we need at this point.

Good thing we have our AHLers Abdelkader, May and Miller to fill in...oh wait they are full-time Wings now. We might as well just leave Jimmy in the net and teach Osgood to skate. I think he would be a pretty good forward with some practice.

Exhaustion does not break someone's wrist or leg. These are professional athletes and if they can't handle being great and having consistent playoff runs every year then maybe they don't deserve to be called professionals. It's their job. They had the rest of June, all of July, and most of August to rest.

On the bright side, if we have our entire Grand Rapids team playing in the NHL for a full season, then next year they will have so much more experience than everyone else's rookies.

Do Detroit sports teams just not give a s*** about the fans that pay for the tickets and jerseys and other s*** that eventually goes toward their paycheck? It's obvious the other three teams don't but now it's starting to look like the Wings don't care anymore either. I don't care if this sounds irrational. I'm pissed and I chose watching this over studying for my exam tomorrow.
