It's playing now...the thing is that when I go to my guide and put my remote onto it it says "BLACKOUT" for the program title...weird

My TV keeps saying the game is blacked out. Did anyone else get this? Isn't it an away game.

I was in second grade so my parents shoved me off to my grandma's house while they went to the game. I remember watching it and seeing fighting but it was kind of blurry. I remember watching the hit on Draper in the previous year and my mom explained the situation to my brother and me and made us say a prayer every night for like a week. And she made sure that we knew about dirty Claude Lemeiux. In our little minds we thought he was a monster or something. And I remember getting really excited it was like McCarty was superman. And then my mom got me a McCarty t-shirt that is so worn out and disgusting by now but I still wear it...and I always wear it on March 26th. It was down to my knees then but it fits me now. I used to try to wear it every day to school, but she kept saying no because it was so long and it looked like I had no pants on!!!

I know I don't post much these days, but this is my opinion. I am just as upset about this game as everyone else. And I am disgusted with the Wings and their play lately. I am in no way saying that the way they are playing will get us anywhere in the playoffs. But it seems that every year we have a meltdown and then come back from it. We have experienced coaches and players. It may not seem like it, but they do know what it takes to win because they have had success before. I am not saying that the way that they are playing now is acceptable at all...but I am confident that the leaders and coaches of this team will find a way to turn it around before the month is over. If they don't...then yes, we will probably get destroyed in the first round (considering we don't have home ice looking likely right now). But I think they will. Just have hope. Think about it this way: We are not players or coaches on this team. We are only fans, so all we can do is react to games. Your options are to be pessimistic and worry your brain off. Or you can be optimistic and just hope that the team turns it around. At lest the optimistic route doesn't take a toll on your mental and physical health.

If we don't score on this, I don't know what I'll do...

This pisses me off. There is NHL hockey west of the Mississippi you know. I agree that the Rangers would be an awesome team for the Winter Classic, but Philly already got to be in one. I'm tired of certain teams getting to go twice while other teams with just as much history are left out. Let some Western teams in!

I don't even know what to say about this. All summer we have heard about players from other teams dying and I thought "Wow that really sucks." But when it's people who were once a part of your organization, it's just hard to wrap your head around it. Life is not fair and this just shows that you never know when your last day will be.

I think the Sedins take the twin thing to an obnoxious level but that's it. Usually a team has to accomplish something to be hated...

I'm not sure which part of this I like better...That Yzerman's team won or that the Penguins are out. (Now that the Pens and Chicago have been eliminated, who are the refs going to help?)

I really bad for the fans in Arizona if they do move. But think of all the new and old fans in Winnipeg that are gonna be so happy to have a hockey team. I'm really happy for them. And maybe some of the players would be sad to leave Arizona, but I wonder how many of them would be happy to be in Winnipeg where they would seem to have more appreciation and an arena filled all the time for them.

It feels good to be the first team in the league to move on

I will start clawing people to get tickets if this happens.
