Exactly. This our team. When I say I love my team, I mean that I love my team. Not "I love Hank, Datsyuk, Hossa, and Lidstrom." I mean when Wisniewski or Gonchar got hurt everyone was like "That's too bad. I hope he recovers." They aren't even on our team.

Hard for me to tell if it was intentional or not. I could see possibly a 2 minute penalty. But this was not worse than Brown's hit on Hudler, or half of the crap that has happened so far in the playoffs that went unsuspended.

Well obviously this is a problem. If the play in fact does stop at the moment when the ref says "Hey I want to blow the whistle" then I have one solution. We must take the clock and electronically hook it up to the ref's brain. Therefore it will stop exactly when he decided to blow the whistle and we will no longer question whether the puck crossed the line before or after he decided that he wanted to blow the whistle. It makes perfect sense.

I know a lot of you don't buy into conspiracy theories, but why do the refs always screw the Wings when we play the Ducks? Last series both teams got screwed. I know petitions and what not don't work but something needs to be done to show this corrupt commissioner and his minions that we the fans are pissed off. -

What bugs me is that he wasn't even annoyed with Ovie's hat trick but rather the fact that there were hats being thrown for it, like no other player is allowed to have fans. That is arrogance at its finest. If it were his teammate who scored the hattie, then would he still have his panties all in a bunch? Don't think so.

I'm not worried. But I am disappointed. I never expected to sweep the Ducks. But I did expect us to win our home games. I expected the Red Wings to show up before the third period. I mean we barely pulled out a win for game one. They certainly did not play up to their capabilities, and I think we can all agree on that. But we can also agree that if any team is going to come back from two tough games, it's going to be the Red Wings.
