Tripping and Diving doesn't even make sense. If he was tripped...then he didn't dive. If he dove...then he obviously wasn't really tripped. Does anyone else agree?

I have been a firm believer that if you can't make it back to your seat by the time the play starts, then you should lose all standing privileges for the rest of the game. I completely agree with the original poster. It's not that it makes you less of a fan, but it's RUDE to people. I've missed many great goals because people were standing. And I did not pay to watch them stand. Same with people who can't keep their mouths shut about their sex life, what happened in last week's episode of their favorite show, how many calories are in their Little Caesar's Pizza, etc. It's so rude. The time for standing is after a goal, during or after a fight, the moments approaching the end of a great game, or during time outs when the screen tells you to stand or clap or whatever. The time for standing and talking is not during the play.

I know our team has been getting a little better but I just have to say it. Way back in the start of the season, everyone was all "Oh it's ok it's only November, December, January, etc. I'll start worrying about our goaltending/defense when it's March." Well guess what tomorrow is. We are still a night and day team.

But I still respected them. I can't respect a guy who is making a career out of trying to put people's head through the glass and stomping on someone's leg with his skate. Besides the fact that he's been suspended what 7 times? I like being able to respect everyone currently wearing the Winged Wheel and would like to keep it that way.

Just because he's a good D-man does not mean he's a good man. I would like to retain the classy reputation of our team please.

No I know they didn't goon it up, but I had them elevated to a status where I didn't think they got frustrated and overly emotional (in a bad play hurting way) and take a bunch of penalties. And they did retaliate sometimes, like the Boyle slashing penalty. I know what I said came off as much more harsh than I wanted it to sound. It's just that I had them elevated to such a high status in my mind and I realized they weren't quite what I thought they were.
