This pissed be off a lot because since I still had school today and both my parents still had to go to work, I assumed there would be no afternoon games. So I didn't set up my fantasy team for the week until it was too late and half my guys that play today are still on the bench.

We deserved this one. Defense and Ozzie should be kissing our forwards' asses after tonight.

At the beginning of the season when people criticized Ozzie's play, everyone here was just like "Oh it wil be okay. It's only November. I'ts not even close to playoffs yet. I'll start worrying when it's March." Well guess what month it is two weeks from today.

I understand that he doesn't ask for the hype. However, I see it going more and more to his head every season. I also don't like him because he's a terrible captain in my opinion. Does anyone remember last year in the finals when the Pens had a 5 on 3 and Zetterberg completely shut Sid down with his skate? When asked about it in an interview, Crosby said something like "I don' t think what Zetterberg did was anything special." First of all, yes it was. Second, a good captain needs to respect his competition. Or during the All Star Game incident, when Crosby got special treatment for showing up. Instead of throwing our players under the bus like he did in an interview, he could have recognized that he doesn't know their situations and whether or not they could travel. Especially when our players have families and Sid lives in Lemiux's basement. He's also starting to turn into a little cheap shot artist. Not like Claude Lemiux though. More of a bitchy one like TooToo. I used to really like Sid, but he's just been doing a lot of things lately that really piss me off.

I have to admit I was pretty worried this season about the Wing's underperformance. But after this past week I am feeling so much better. I'm feeling more confident that we can fix our minor problems before playoff time. I like our chances of repeating much better than I did before. I'm even more confident about keeping Hossa than I was a week ago. And with the warmer weather this week (those of you who live in Michigan), it even feels like playoff time. What do you guys think?

I'm sorry, but wasn't Hossa with the Pens for like 4 months? He's been a Wing longer than he was a Penguin. And how is he a "sellout" if he came to Detroit for less money? And if he's a traitor now, then what does that make him when he came to Pittsburgh? Pens fans sound like crazy stalker ex girlfriends.

Especially in the second intermission when they did that presentation on him. They said that it must be hard because there is no one above Crosby, so he has no one to learn from. He could learn a ton from Datsyuk or Hossa about scoring, a lot from Z about being great defensively, and he could learn much more from Lidstrom about how to lead a team.

I guess they missed the second intermission where they had a presentation on Sidney Crosby. Quotes from the announcers: "He is called the second best player in the league, but I think in everyone's hearts, they know he is the best player in the league." I don't think Avery is that bad of a guy. Yeah his method for screening Brodeur last year was kind of an *******-ish thing to do, but it was not against the rules at the time. When the NHL changed it, he stopped doing it, didn't he? And six games plus anger management for running his mouth? What about Chris Pronger players who love to cross-check and stomp on people? They're the ones who need anger management. Avery didn't say those things because he was angry. He said it because he's stupid. There's a huge difference.
