Yess game 6 on my bday. Hopefully (knock on wood) we win the series then so I can have one hell of a party.

Yeah mine was more along the lines of that this tradition is older than he is (even if it is by a few months) and that it stands for something. And that it hasn't been a problem. Also, the NHL needs fans, so you prob don't want to piss them off.

Yeah my boyfriend called me to tell me about it since I'm in East Lansing for school and don't get that channel anymore. But he told me that they said on the radio that they want everyone to email at the same time. Do you know anything about that? And by the way, I think everyone should avoid profanity because if you want to get something done, you need to use facts, not emotion.

I'm hoping Thursday and Saturday. This way I can have hockey night with my friends on Thursday before finals weekend starts. And then on Saturday I can take a break from studying to watch, and I will feel better.

So I've been using sewing thread as my bracelets for the playoffs. I'm trying to keep them thin because I work at Abercrombie and we are discouraged against wearing jewelery. So I've been using just a single thread. After I got home from game 2 I put on my second red one for the win. The next day when I woke up, I realized that it fell off. Nashville won game 3. I put on a white one for a loss. Then the new white one fell off the next day. Nashville won game 4. For the rest of the series, no strings fell off and we won the next two games. But the one I added yesterday for the win keeps falling off. And of course I get a new one because I don't want the bad luck of the old one that fell down. But all the new ones keep comming off too. And I swear to the Hockey Gods that I'm making them as tight as possible. And when I'm done I pull as hard as I can on them to make sure they don't come off. Is this a bad sign that the new one keeps falling off? I'm not doing it on purpose.

Nice. When we won the Cup in 02, our family vacation to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina took place about a week later. I was only about 13, but I was so cocky. I made everyone wear Red Wings attire the entire time we were in either NC or SC nd when people asked where I was from at a restaurant or something I would say something like "Detroit, home of the Stanley Cup Champions." And my mom kept trying to make me be quiet. And at the beach in the sand I wrote 2002 CHAMPS all over the beach.

Watch. Bettman's gonna find some way to fine the stars or something for causing sadness to his beloved ducks.

I think it would be really lame to have the Bruins and Rangers play because this year's WC was all Eastern teams. It's our turn. But I like the idea of Original 6 matchups.

No more Anaheim till October!!!!! Except for Neidermayer as he doesn't join the team till January. I bet Scheids wishes he were back here.

Definately Franzen. If he didn't score the OT winner in game 5 then the Preds could have easily scored, putting us down 3-2 with game 6 in Nashville.

I wear Wings to class every gameday. This isn't weird or anything, but in 2002 our family vacation was scheduled for a couple days after we won the Cup...funny thng...we were driving to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (right after we beat the Canes in the finals). So as soon as we hit the North Carolina border I changed into Wings gear and that's all I wore the whole time I was in both of those states. And every time some waitress or something would be like "So where yall from?" I would answer "Detrot. We just won the Cup." And at the beach I would write GO WINGS all over the sand. I wanted everyone to know where I was from. I know it's a little immature but I was in 8th grade at the time.

I feel really outdone. My job has a dresscode and we can't wear a lot of jewelery so I just used a single red thread and tied it.

I think it's funny that people say that when a lot of our players come here because they want to be a Red Wing, rather than money. They could have had a much higher salary in other places, but they chose to be part of this team.

As much as I would L-O-V-E to see the ducks crying their way to the golf course next week, I want the Wings to be the ones to send them there.

Well my question is who exactly would this lawsuit be filed against? Are they gonna sue the Wings or their own players? Who knows?

I can't wait to kick some Predneck ass. I don't even hate the team as much as I hate the ignorant fans. I've been thinking about it all day, I pretty much don't remember my last 3 hours of class.
