Dude every time I put the game back on the Pens score.

Advertisingwise, "Are you in" is a good slogan because it sounds like watching the Wings is the "in" thing to do. So it appeals to the people who want to be "in". However, as a slogan meant to pump up a sports team team, it sucks because it's not motivational. It's just good bandwagon propaganda. I like "c of red" and "play on"

Well my first class Monday and Wednesday is 11:30. On the other days I don't have class till 2 or 3, so I think I'm gonna be okay. Last year when I was in high school I remember my dad trying to enforce bedtime at 11:30 on school nights. He gave up quickly.

Well I was having this discussion with friends yesterday. And I know it sounds rediculous but I am verrrry superstitious when it comes to hockey. And we were watching the Tigers last night and my friend was upset that they weren't doing to well and I just reminded him that the Tigers got to the World series in 06 when the Wings didn't get past the first round. Therefore, until hockey is over, I don't mind the Tigers losing for a while. Again, I am very superstitious. And yes, I agree that if the Tigers are playing poorly then people will shift toward the Wings. Especially after the first round.

Colorado over Minnesota likely. Philly over Caps maybe. And a possible Dallas over Anaheim. Anaheim is a dirty filthy team and if they get penalized accordingly, they will be in trouble. Their PK is 6th out of the Western playoff teams. But past experience tells me that they might not get penalized as much as they should.

My family is hardcore Italian, so ever since I was a kid, we would eat spaghetti BEFORE the game! Every noodle had to be finished before the game started. (The white noodles and red sauce symbolize the Wings colors.) Also, I go out and get a new bucket of sidewalk chalk before every game (only one dollar) and pimp out my driveway so everyone passing by knows that this house is a Red Wings house. I write stuff like "GO WINGS!" or "This is Hockeytown" which is usually accompanied by a picture of the other team's mascot either golfing or bleeding or with its head chopped off. One time last year I was doing my pre-game chalk ritual and a lady walking her dog came up to me and said "I've been watching you for a couple weeks and I wanted to tell you that I really enjoy your work. I always look forward to seeing it before every game."

Tootoo looks like a convincing girl in the Queen picture.

Absolutely embarassing. According to the versus announcers, Nashville is a team that is "barely in the rankings in the eastern conference." Know your s*** if you are going to announce it as your JOB. They didn't even correct themselves. Blues up 3-0 right now.

This artilcle is dead on. I'm so sick of the Wings getting absolutely no credit, being said to be out in the first round before it's even April. Anaheim is good because they beat up on everyone and go head hunting and their goalie carried them through the playoffs. No I'm sorry...their goalie EQUIPMENT carried them through the playoffs. And the Central argument is total BS because look who San Jose and Anaheim face. They play LA and Phoenix 8 times each. And the Hawks are not as weak as they used to be. And Nashville isn't terrible at all.

Yeah I hope so because I made all my plans around the Friday game. My friend got us tickets for like $40 each. I didn't as how, because you should never question cheap tickets. But for a playoff game that's not bad. And they are supposed to be decent seats too.

Are you sure it's on the 12th because my friend and I got tickets and he said that they were for the 11th (although he has the tickets right now and I haven't seen them myself so he might be wrong)

During the national anthem, I got chills because othing looks better than McCarty in a Wings jersey. It looks right.

Damn Sammy is out. I hope we don't fall apart out there without him. And the McCarty jersey is ON and I'm so ready to go.

I think it's so cute how the ducks fans think that their hero Chris Pronger is all rainbows and sunshine. And I think it's weird that a team this dirty was once owned by DISNEY.
