If the Sharks lose I'll be pissed. I don't want the Flames in the playoffs. Although if the Flames play the Sharks in the first round, there's a chance they could beat them.

I have to have something Red Wings related on my body AT ALL TIMES on game day starting at midnight. As an example, I wait till 11:59 the night before a game and put on a Red Wings t-shirt so that when it turns to midnight, I start off already wearing something. I will sleep in that t-shirt. Then the next day when I'm getting dressed, I will first put my hair in my Red Wings scrunchy so that when I take the t-shirt off, I'm still wearing Wings gear. Then I'll put on another Wings shirt or jersey then take the scrunchy off. I usually try to shower the night before so I don't have to worry about doing it, but if I need to shower on a game day, I have to have my Wings scrunchy around my wrist in the shower. When I say I have to wear something Wings related at all times, I really mean at all times.

Now that I think about it, if Campbell is only out for a couple more weeks, we might as well get Chicago now instead of later when he's back to take advantage of it. But it's most likely that we get Vancouver so I doubt it. And plus there's a really cute boy in one of my classes that wears a Blackhawks hat every other day so this way I have an excuse to talk to him.

If it was me, I would start Ozzie for the next game to give Howard a rest. Then Howard has 2 more games to get in some practice and get into playoff shape, considering the last game is against Chicago. There is a good chance for us to lose if we start Ozzie again, but at this point it doesn't matter.

Nashville scares me the most honestly so I like the idea of them playing Vancouver in the first round while we get Phoenix. Less playoff experience and only a 2 hour time difference as opposed to San Jose. I would like to wait for Chicago to get worn out so their injuries and shaky goaltending can be exposed when we play them.

BJ's got hosed on that one. That looked like a slight kick to me. Wings goal that probably should have been called off ruled a good goal? It must be April Fools Day.

I don't know about you guys, but seeing that video made me pumped for playoffs (like I wasn't already). It makes me happy that not everyone has written the Wings off this year. Actually, now that I think about it, let them write the Wings off.

According to my prone-to-error math skills, if the Wings win the rest of their games, Chicago needs to only win 3 games to win the Central. The Wings are at 93 points right now with 6 games left. If we were to win all of those games, that would put us at 105 points. Chicago is at 99 points with 7 games left. In order for Chicago to get 105 points to tie the Wings (and beat us in the # of wins tie breaker) they only need to win 3 games. Did I do that right?

6 points behind Chicago...this could get interesting. All it takes is a little luck. Not probable but if we did manage to catch them I think I would die laughing. If we win the rest of our games, Chicago would still win the division with 3 wins so it's still not that likely but we can dream.
