Kopecky has been getting praise for his play for the past month or so, the physical aspect of his game has improved, he gets limited minutes because of the line he is on. Filppula on the other hand, whats the count now 23 games since his last goal? Hopefully he can break that soon, they need for him to do so. I think Clearys injury has affected our scoring and defense more than people ever realized it would. Hudler is non-existant in all phases of the game right now, nuff said.

If its Ozzie and Howard, they will split the time like Hasek and Ozzie have done this year. They are wanting Howard to be able to take over the # 1 spot in a year or two. If that does happen remains to be seen, because from comments made from Babcock and the front office, Howard was running out of chances going into this season. Ryan Miller (Buffalo) will be a free agent in that time frame, and it wouldn't surprise me to see them try to get the local boy to come home to Michigan if Howard doesn't pan out.

Hitchcock is like Bowman in the head games routine when trying to motivate people. Bowman did the same things to Feds in Detroit, moving him around, and to the blueline.

Quincey did fine in the playoffs last year with us in his limited time on the Wings. Meech never gets to play, im not arguing your point, but it's sorta early to pass judgement on 2 guys that have not played much. I think both are better than Lebda by far. If I had to pick between the 2 of them, I would keep Quincey. Meech is out of options and they would lose him for nothing is why he is still in Detroit and not GR. Kindl and Ericsson have lots of potential when they make the transition to Detroit.

more than likely he's getting anti inflammatory drugs to deal with that. His injury will bother him for the rest of his career. There will be times that he misses a game or two with back spasms or stiffness from now on until he retires.

People need to figure out that teams aren't going to want Sammy in trades for Fedorov or whomever. It's going to be prospect , draft pick and or young player like Kopecky. Sammy is dead weight at this time, if they did receive something it would be a low draft pick or a bad player. For some reason Sammy does not want to drive the net, does not want to shoot, all he wants to do is try to pass the puck like some playmaker.

the atlanta and mattias deals are exactly my point, they arent going to overpay. If there are multiple teams in it, the price will go up. It just depends on how long each of them bluff until they fold.

According to Esposito this morning on XM Home Ice, theres not much progress with the attempts to resign Jackman.
