Then you forgot about what Atlanta gave for Tkachuk last year....Oil gave up for Roloson 2 years ago, closer to the deadline it gets and more teams get involved the price goes up. I'm not so sure they deal him if they stay in it, and not so sure if they deal with a team within the division. Ottawa and Montreal are supposedly interested in him also.

Ericsson and Kindl were said to be off limits recently. It probably is Stuart they are watching. Davidson would like nothing more than to get a few of the Wings prospects and continue to improve at our expense. Blues have a few good defenseman prospects, so im thinking they would want as you said Hudler or Flip included in some deal.

They wont look at another enforcer type....it is probably stuart, teams normally dont trade within their own division. but I don't think its the Central Division foes that they are worried about, probably only the Predators make it unless the Hawks continue this torrid pace they are on.

I dont think they lock the doors anymore, hopefully they learned their lesson. Salary levels are back to what they were, and it is on the path to where there are only a few teams (Wings included) that will have the deep checkbook in the arsenal. Leafs have more than anyone, but their organization is such a mess that it doesn't matter. Rangers always spend tons though, and they once again have all the names, and not much chemistry. Locking up Lundqvist was smart though, I would have liked to see him move to Michigan...Oh well maybe Ryan Miller would want to move home

When the Devils swept the Wings Vernon was the one that took the majority of the blame, I think he had it worse than Legace did when he choked vs the Oilers 2 years ago. Cheveldae and Keith Primeau were the nightly targets of the Joe Louis faithful....Essensa was all but run out of town.

When I said what you quoted, I did not name anyone.....Now im getting it from a certain couple of people in there, saying I put words in their mouth. If I didn't name them, how can I do that. Another one in there is on one hand making a reference that I wasnt in there...but im getting accused of calling someone a puckbunny. Sounds to me like they just told on themselves. I think her definition of Puckbunny and mine differ... My definition of puckbunny is someone who meets the hockey players out back and do em just because they are hockey players. They still had a decent group of players left over from Leopolds fire sale. Erat, Dumont, Arnott, Radulov, Weber (been injured most of the season)to name a few. Trotz probably has done his best job this season, but hard to say if he gets the Jack Adams. Phoenix was horrible, and if they make the playoffs or get close, I think he gets it. They were horrible to say the least. Montreal has been a resurgance this season as well, tradition will be in the writers heads when they consider that one. Nashville gets little exposure around the league , I think they have on Versus appearance, not sure about TSN or Sportsnet, im sure its more than Gretzky's team....Montreal on the other hand is shown throughout Canada all the time.... Will be interesting to see what happens.

When they brought him back I admit I wasn't for it....But he's accepted his role well, the guy doesn't gripe or whine and he does play well most of the time. Usually he has the Predators number, tonight wasn't all his fault, he didn't get much help from his teammates at the beginning, and im sure they will admit to that. Sure there are better goalies than Ozzy, but there are many more out there that are worse. Im sure many teams would want him on their roster in the role he plays now.

sorry wasnt making stuff up, I dont have to. It was because you gals got pissed cause I said cutie boy Lebda wasnt very good. It was said that Lebda was great and was almost as good as Lidstrom, I replied that Pronger was the only one that was close, and it was said Lebda was better. I never called anyone a puckbunny, just said that hes your favorite cause hes "cute". I also said that if Pronger was a Wing you would all like him which once again I had 2 or 3 girls telling me I was wrong. I think its hilarious to be honest......its like one of you can say something and 2 or 3 jump to their defense and swear to it. Someone also said Meech > Lebda and they got scolded.

Lebda is on that protected list also, I was threatened with testicular genicide for my feelings about his play.

A friend of mine said during the game and I wish I had thought of it.....Lebda is another Dandanault....knocking over Tootoo is fine, and I hope everyone does it again. His speed is fine, puckhandling skills leave something to be desired... His best pairing is with Chelios IMO. I don't think he's developing as much as the Wings would have hoped. With Quincey and Ericsson being ready for a looksie, he better look over his shoulder. Kindl will eventually be a Wing also.

He did fine in his relief role......Im glad he is getting some NHL ice time and getting a look.

I was in the chat room of this site during the game, and said that Lebda was bad, and immediately got jumped. Someone actually said Lebda was great and was almost as good as Lidstrom. When responding that only Pronger was close to Lidstrom I was told that Pronger sucked and Lebda was better. Guess that's what I get for going into a chat room eh ? There is a reason Lebda keeps getting shuffled around with different partners, and its not good. He was left standing on the Predators first goal near the net. Hes not the only one to blame tonight, the entire first period everyone stunk it up but they are going to have to evaluate their defensive corps and figure something out. It wasn't a typical Lids / Raffy night either. Howard did fine I think, the goal he allowed could have been stopped maybe, but he seemed to do ok
