Suter said today that he won't resign with the Predators until after the trade deadline. This is an attempt to force them into trading for offensive help, which is a condition he and Weber have both said previously as to their resigning with the team. I think the Wings chances for getting Suter grow slimmer by the day. I hope they stay away from overpriced, often injured Hemsky. Seems like we're the annual target to trade for him.. I think we get a backup goalie, and Conklin goes to Grand Rapids, or another team via the waiver wire. Wings should get a defenseman like a Gleason, because I don't like our chances if Commodore has to play often, and Kindl has been not so good lately. Don Cherry is a sideshow that should be taken with a grain of salt. The CBC guys saying the Wings hadn't seen speed like Toronto's was hilarious also, just any way they can rip on the Wings they do it, be it factual or not. I would like to see someone that keeps the Tootoo's away from our guys, who wouldnt ? I get sick and tired of seeing our guys get pushed around by guys who do it because they know we wont fight back.

You shouldn't hate the Wings, they help to pay the Preds bills. Weber won't be a Wing, he is a restricted free agent after this current season, so the only way we would get him is via trade, and believe me, the Preds wont trade with us.
