Oh yeah, and your players are cheap shot artists, but if Tootoo does his crap thats just hockey. Lots of fans there that don't know much about what goes on besides the score. They've always had the issue of struggling vs the Predators when they weren' that good of a team, like this season, but the past couple of seasons when they were loaded the Wings take it up another level, what was it last year, 6-1-1 ? It could just be me, but it seems this season the Wings play to the level of their opponent.

Mason didn't have that great of a game either, he just had 3 or 4 guys dropping back from center ice continually, just like every team has been doing to the Wings these days. Sort of similar to that 1-2-2 crap Columbus has been doing. Wings were taking long shots again, and not getting many shots off of rebounds hence the 3 and 4 guys sitting in front of the Preds net.

The Lebda phantom holding call was crap, but the Wings had their shot at the beginning with all the power plays, they didnt show patience and took bad shots. This is a team that the Wings should beat hands down. The Wings allowed them to stay in the game when they had them by the throat early. Ortmeyer, Tootoo, Fiddler, and Zenon are a joke.

Yes, Weber and Crisp are morons, Crisp is a drunk old man. I know that in some shape or form all of the home team cover guys favor their team, but these 2 go to the extreme and they say things that aren't going on. It's to the point that it's sickening to watch them, Mason made a grab of a Zetts shot that was high and wide of the net, Crisp went on about what a great save it was, man get him off the rye. I do have a question for everyone though, why is it when the Wings visit Nashville, its always on the second game of a back to back trip, or after an extended time without games. It's been that way since the Predators came about, just wondered why. I hope Legionairre has a hangover tomorrow.

I hope the kid can make it, and they should let him play a few games to see whats up. I posted earlier about Bryzgalov, was beating someone to the punch , but playing Goalie and QB in Detroit are hard positions to win fans over with.

The Wings front office / scouting and ownership has done well to keep stocking the cupboard so far, but as for Howard goes, I think its do or die time on a decision concerning his future as our goalie. I think the Wings have a good group in place about player personnel (Holland, Yzerman, Babcock, Nil and Bowman) so I feel as if the Wings future is in good hands. I also believe that something will happen soon in the defensive groupings, not sure how much longer Chelios can play, and it may be time to find a Plan B if Kronwall continues to fight injuries / inconsistany play. Sometimes though, you have to take a few steps back to take many forwards.

Amen to that...... the Kings, Blue Jackets and Predators are brutal just to name a few. Leafs, well they are in a minor league of their own in the announcing aspect.

When and IF this team ever starts to become a Cup contender on a consistant basis will they draw corporate backing. Companies (See bank example below) aren't going to dump money into things that they consider a financial risk, and right now that organization is a risk. They've had to cut payroll, almost moved and had to literally beg the public to help them sell tickets. The group has had reported losses of 70 million dollars over a period of time , Leopold is the devil so I'll sorta have to consider the source on those numbers (Example of financial risk - Local Banks told the Freeman group that they had to get money from the city to help OFFSET losses to the tune of 2.5 - 3 million per season- or they DONT get their loans. Exact figures have have changed in this final lease deal) Im sure you'll post that im bitter again or something, (still not sure where you get that im bitter at the Predators - the Wings have won the majority of the games) I'm just quoting facts dude. Hopefully it works out in the long run as Ive said before, especially if I go back there to live and don't have to venture to St Loser I mean Louis and Detroit to see games, much cheaper to have a team in your back yard.

They tried that with Leopold with the Predators books years ago and it didn't fly. Here's my question to you, and im sure you'll say things will prosper, (for my pals who support this team tooth and nail and buying extra season tickets I hope they do) but anyhow....... They wont get the local corporate sponsor money now nor any other time (Titans and Vanderbilt get all of that) and they will have to bust their tail in order to get people to buy tickets, so whats to say it will be different in 5 years than it is now ? No im not bitter as you've accused me of being in prior posts, im just realistic.

IThe bonds issue was that they were afraid after using them, that the IRS comes back and says that they have changed in their tax structure and the amount of the tax would change down the line, that was one thing he mentioned. I think the fact that they are having to fight this much to keep the team there speaks volumes....I feel sorry for my friends there that do support them and have since day 1..... yeah he did, but it took something like that to get him to recognize the wings, but he's got his nose up the pistons and or tigers keister. Its almost like he takes the wings for granted.
