Toskala to the Wings started on Leafs TV a couple of weeks ago, and its looking like Pierre Lebraun <sp?> of ESPN is reporting ANYTHING he reads, including Eklund. Sometimes I wonder what games you watch.....if you think Lebda and Meech and Chelios have been better than Stuart.....its not been long ago where Mr Kahn reported that Lebda is in danger of losing the 6th defenseman spot. Stuart, Nick and Rafalski have been the 3 best. Lilja has been better, but Lebda has been brutal defensively, and Chelios does ok in spurts, but his age is showing in a bad way.

I dont think there is an actual gathering place for the Wings fans, you just see them everywhere. Im really looking for ward to the stupid remarks about how terrible our team is. Someone started in at the last game about how the Wings suck, and I responded with "At least the Wings make money and aren't folding or moving" guy shuttup and walked off. Pathetic organization there on Broadway.

The sports bar in the Hilton has pretty good food, sometimes the Wings players stay there in that hotel. There are a few places on both sides of the street on Broadway, going towards the Hard Rock. There is a BBQ place that is pretty good, you can't miss the sign. Big River Grill is on the corner of 2nd ave South and Broadway, across from the Hard Rock Cafe. They (Big River) have a microbrew on site, its pretty good beer. Food isnt bad either. They do offer a sampler of their brews ! If you go North on 2nd, there are few bars on the end closest to Broadway, one is an Irish Pub, lots of good brews in that place. Buffalo Billiards, Coyote Ugly There is a Fondu place called the "melting pot" Not sure if the Spaghetti Factory is still in business or not, but thats located in the same area, same side of the street as Buffalo Billiards and Coyote Ugly Sbarros Pizza Someone mentioned Demos and Last but certainly not least, is a HOOTERS Im in 323 Row A that night.....

You people forget that the year after next, there have been many conversations concerning the cap going DOWN. It will depend on the revenue numbers this season. It is possible that this happens. Also, if Hossa was willing to take LESS money to be here, as people seem to think he will , why didn't he do it NOW ??? We have kids like Helm, Abdelkader and Ericsson ready to step in and play, and would be on most teams. I myself, don't plan on Hossa coming back, not if they keep the mule. Plus we need a goaltender...Not all of the blame goes on the goaltending but a good part of it does.
