Foofoo is good at picking his fights; he sure as hell won't start anything with someone that he thinks will kick his tail for him... He is one of the most overrated players in the NHL. Skating skills aren't very good, Puck handling is a joke, and with Nashville lack of depth on their roster, he sees 2nd line time every now and then. That annoying whistle sound when he hits the ice is piped in, along with the idiots in the stands that do it. Some idiot tried arguing with me that Tootoo beat up Jody Shelley, but after reading his fight log at Hockeyfights.com, they've never fought.

This may have been posted earlier, but the interference penalty on Lebda in the 2nd was a joke. I was there, he put his hand on Tootoo, but didnt push him, Tootoo dived like a hooker at work, penalty on Lebda. Anyone notice that everytime the Wings got a PP, within 2 minutes of it being completed the Predaturds got one of their own ? With exception of the final 2 minutes of the game

Same reason people thought Lebda was a better defenseman than Kyle Quincey. Larsson has had a much better season than Howard thus far, and Im sure Howard can read the writing on the wall, with Larsson's appearance plus the drafting of the McCollum <sp?> kid with the 1st rounder.

Mac offers less than Kopecky, Mac is not the skater / hitter / fighter that he once was. He was a proud warrior during our 3 prior cups to last season. There are going to have to be moves made in order to have player movement, apparently Meech didn't gather enough interest this morning. Lebda should be the one to go, hes not getting any better and at least Meech can play forward or defenseman. Things may be in the works people.... Im not a Kopecky fan either, he should be using his size moreso than he does, same goes for Lilja.

He's naive for thinking that hockey in the South (except for Dallas) works and makes money. So its not surprising.

Weber was a -13 at one point, which isn't all his fault, but his scoring has slowed down somewhat as of late. Lots of hockey left to be played and not many people really watch this guy play, especially the media from the East. He would have to have some eye popping numbers in order to get in the Norris finalist group.

kopecky, draper, maltby, filppula, and everyone else on the wings team would have to pass through waivers in order to go down to GR... Filppula wouldn't last past the first team in line to grab someone off the waiver wire.

In 2002 when the Wings won the cup, Illitch barely broke even with the team, due to the high salaries on the squad. 16 mill in losses thats lower than I had thought considering the 2 seasons before the lockout...Illitch makes somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 mill or so? for each home playoff game....Could be more, if Im off with that number, feel free to correct me....
