Officiating was atrocious both ways. I will admit it is hard to believe that Setoguci did not get whistled for his high stick on Franzen. Last I heard, the player is responsible for his stick at all times.

Crysby is gutless. Didn't show that much emotion for 60 mins. I guess he plays when he feels like it.

Let's face facts, and it is that Osgood has been terrible this season. Last season is just that, last season. He's been awful all season long, and those who think otherwise are just fooling themselves. I say start Conklin. If it weren't for him, the Wings wouldn't be where they are now.

I don't think anything is wrong with Hossa or any of the Red Wings.... Maybe it is a few of the other Wings are really stepping up

The Red Wings, Champions of the West. The best.

Barry Melrose is still bitter that the Red Wings never considered him for the head coaching job when he was in the Red Wings organization. He just sounds like sour grapes when he talks about the Wings, and worse when it is a team that the Wings are playing against.

They look awfully good, but still a long ways to go.

I've always liked what Don Cherry has had to say, but I will disagree with some of what he had to say. Grapeswent on to say that the style of hockey is boring and passive, and a turn-off for the fans. The style of hockey is not boring, but it is the ticket prices keeping people away. In a depressed economy, Red Wings tickets are a bit steep, especially in the playoffs. I thought he would have mentioned that with the way our economy has gone. I guess that no one outside this market has a clue.

Easy now everybody, 3rd round has to be determined first, and I hope that the Wings distinguish themselves well!
