Drake is not the cheapest. Kopecky is.
-
Could this Drake signing mean that Cleary will get less SH time and would be lot more on the PP? I think Franzen-Draper and Drake-Maltby would be the best penalty killers at the moment. Cleary could be used more on the second PP.
-
Should this be in Trade rumours area?
-
That doesn't mean anything. I know it was just a secure plan. I know Ville very well. He has until july 15th to sign NHL contract and I'm 99% sure he will sign somewhere.
-
Don't say that about Kopecky. He is one of the grittiest guys at next season, and if you mean that gritty style is the canadien style of play, he is definitely worth of his roster spot. It doesn't mean where the guy is from, if he has the right kind of heart. BTW, Nieminen is still available. He would sign for minimun salary.

WTF is this post? You think we can't win with European players? Do you also think white guys can't win at basketball? Maybe you are some kind of reborn canadian Adolf Hitler.
-
I think we have enough semen in our team.
-
There's no Liv anymore. He's UFA and has signed back to Sweden (HV-71).
-
I'm quite sure everyone likes this team when the season begins. Just watch. Nice young spirit and no old floating goats in the offence. The lines doesn't matter.

Puck Fronger.

Please stop whining guys. I mean not you all more intelligent friends but those whiner assholes. I'm just dead tired all these whining, Holland is doing that and isn't doing that. We'll be fine, let the youngsters show what they can do. At the deadline we do two moves and we are back in Stanley Cup business...

Teemu has said 100 times, that he contienues his career only in Anaheim.

http://blog.mlive.com/redwingsinsider/2007..._two_years.html Some info from MLive: Igor Grigorenko wasn't able to make it to the start of the prospects camp Thursday at Joe louis Arena because of problems securing his visa in Russia. They're hoping he can arrive Friday and be on the ice Saturday, but there's also a chance he might miss the whole camp, which ends on Wednesday. Some of the prospects participating include Jakub Kindl, Jan Mursak, Justin Abdelkader, Cory Emmerton and 2007 first-round pick Brendan Smith. The camp, however, is not open to the public. It would be nice to hear what's happening at the camp.

They don't have cap space for Dom. All free space is going to their own unsigned players.
-
No anymore lefties. I'd rather go with our left-handed kids.
-
Damn, I didn't know these bad things. Those are very hard to solve. Otherwise Jeff would be my definite first choice to join the team at the moment. He has that shot, he has the right attitude he just has to find a new atmosphere and motivation to be at top level again. Hopefully that'd be at Detroit.

No in hell. Raycroft is worse than Cloutier.
-
Cleary can play each line. I'd put him with Filppula to 3rd to get the offence deeper. And Cleary is a lock for 2nd PP unit screener's role. Homer is the obvious 1st PP unit screener.

Sign Hasek. Then sign Jeff O'Neill to be that 1st line sniper. Datsyuk passing for O'neill will capitalize 40 goals with his lethal shot. 14th forward could be Darren McCarty. Plays when there's injuries, fights sometimes and scores 10 goal against the Avs. Get the own boy back at minimun salary. At the Trade deadline get that nasty bastard Adam Foote from the sucking Columbus. If Grigorenko sucks, then get another top six forward (Mats Sundin) at the deadline. Then we are set. Before season: Holmström - Zetterberg - Samuelsson Grigorenko - Datsyuk - O'Neill Franzen - Filppula - Cleary Kopecky - Draper - Maltby (Hudler, McCarty) Lidström - Rafalski Lilja - Kronwall Lebda - Chelios (Quincey) Hasek Osgood Upgraded defence the playoffs: Lidström - Foote Lilja - Rafalski Kronwall - Chelios (Lebda)

So, no one is coming to Wings at the moment. Holland wants the market cooling down. http://blog.mlive.com/snapshots/ Red Wings general Manager Ken Holland says that, Bertuzzi's defection to Anaheim included, he's ready to sit back and enjoy the show as the remaining unrestricted free agents are plucked off the market: With Bertuzzi gone, the Wings' immediate priority is to get Dominik Hasek re-signed; the sides are close and the deal should close this week. As for finding a top-six forward to take Bertuzzi's place, the Wings want to let the 2-day-old free agency market cool off and then see what can be had at a reasonable price for one year or at the most, two. "We'll take our time now, wait awhile this summer," Holland said. "I think we've got a good team. We'll survey the land." : "Another (defenceman) isn't our priority," Holland said. "We're not looking for anybody significant. If we're going to do something on D, maybe it's a month from now." ... "We've spent $40 million without Hasek and Hudler," Holland said. As of Monday night, Slava Kozlov and his agent were still talking to the Atlanta Thrashers on Monday night. It sounds like the only thing that could convince Kozlov from Atlanta is something the Detroit Red Wings can't offer him--a salary of over $4 million a year. I think Jeff O'Neill would be reasonable pick for 2 million. Hopefully Babcock likes him.

Are we getting some compensation picks about those Schneider and Bertuzzi signings? Some facts please..
-
I still think Z and Dats will be separated. Franzen - Z - Sammy Grigorenko - Dats - Homer Hudler - Flip - Cleary Kopecky - Drap - Malt Lidström - Kronwall Lilja - Rafalski Lebda - Chelly Quincey Hasek? Ozzie
-
I think Kopecky will take #82. It is also his birth year.

Jeff O'neill thanks.
