I think at 5 on 3 we should put two guys in front of the instead of just Homer there. Three guys triangle to move the puck and get shots and two guys in front to get the rebounds. Just imagine Homer and Bert same time in front.

Yes, I'm happy that Chris is coming back. We have better chanches then.
-
Yes yes, nice excuses. We played that January 2-1 win without Datsyuk and Chelios, also Langfeld, Hudler and Williams were on the lineup who aren't right now. Now we have Chelios and healthy Datsyuk there + Bertuzzi and Kopecky intead of those three last guys. Since then we have been a totally diffferent team. That 1-0 win at March we played without Zetterberg, our offensive MVP. You didn't have Penner and Marchant. No difference at all. So maybe it's wise to think these comparations also from our view, not only from Ducks view. Also Detroit Red Wings can have injuries, but they still can win. We have that adversity.

I'll think it's the combination of every reasons. Injured finger + No Kunitz + Lidström = 0+0 in three games.

It would be very nice to see him back. He would strengthen our team even more. Just replace Quincey in the 3rd pairing and not too big role too fast. Just eat some minutes away from others.
-
In other words, it partially hurt the team. Cause stepping up is 50% of winning the cup. But I still think our biggest reasons for the early exits has been the goaltending.
-
Huds will be ready if someone gets injured. That's his role and it's our priviledge to have so deep offence. You never know what happens.
-
Yup. That's the best thing in this. Richard Jackman or Aaron Rome will be in the lineup. I hope Jackman, he is really horrible in his own end, but can do something on the PP. Nieder 30min Beauche 30min O'Donnel 25min Huskins 15min Dipenta 10min Jackman 10min

Nice teamplay Pronger. You really helped your teammates job to beat us now. You must be a superhero in your teammates minds right now.
-
I want Richard Jackman to play.

Very nice quote.

I think Pronger hurt more his team than Homer in this incident. I just read this one month old Teemu Selanne interview from Finnish sportsmagazine IS Veikkaaja: Selanne describes Pronger a player who is acting very well inside the team and he knows his value to the team. - He isn't very loudy guy in the lockeroom, but he is the only guy, which our coach is a little bit scary against. If I decide ask from Carlyle an off-day for the team, he'll just laugh for me. But if Pronger asks it, Randy will agree without a question. Selanne compares Pronger like a mother, which feelings will influence to the whole family. - Your have to keep your mother happy in your family, then all the others family members will stay happy. But if your daddy is unhappy, others can still be happy. So you can read it between the lines. When Pronger loses his game, then the whole Ducks team will lose their game. Fine for the Wings. Translated from Finnish to my bad English, there could be some mistakes, sorry about that.

how scary would we of been and be right now if ....

Acquiring Chelios was a move that we had to do after losing Vladdy. Acquiring Markov was a move that we had to do after losing Fish. So I think there would be no Markov, if Fish would be with us now. And also there would be no Chelios, if we still had Vladdy. -
Babs split Zetta and Dats in the 3rd period of the 2nd game. Do you guys think this will be our new tactic to get both of them produce also on the road? I think it's really worth of trying cause they are too easy to shut down when being together and when facing that kind of Norris-Trophy candidates like the Ducks have.. Flip - Dats - Homer Franz - Z - Sammy Cleary - Lang - Tuzzi I'd try these.

Has he been on practise yet? Any source or mentioning somewhere?
-
Maybe his hand injury went to worse direction. It didn't heal because he played (or something like that) and now he has to sit. Kopecky is fine replacement for me. Big and fresh body.
-
I hope all these kind of stuff will someway or another get to the wall of Wings locker room. Just some extra boost for us.

Some of my friend noticed during last game that Teemu has somekind of taping in his finger and he hasn't been shooting a lot, like he always do. He is just passing and findin a spot to pass right now. Very untypical style to play for him. So we are suggesting that something is wrong, just like Calder. It's maybe not a big thing, but it's affecting to his play.
-
So has Teemu Selänne.

XBox simulation: 09:29 1-0 Datsyuk (Holmström, Lidström) PP 27:16 2-0 Samuelsson (Lang, Franzen) 28:59 2-1 Moen (R.Niedermayer, Beauchemin) 35:29 2-2 Selänne (S.Niedermayer, McDonald) 42:21 3-2 Franzen (Zetterberg, Lidström) SH 57:15 3-3 Kunitz (Selänne, Pronger) PP 57:46 4-3 Zetterberg (Holmström, Lilja) 59:53 5-3 Samuelsson (Lang, Hasek) EN Suits for me.

YES! Ladies and gentlemen, let the Duckhunt begin! \o/

How can you say anything before seeing that guy on the ice and in this team? With one UFA and Grigorenko, there is 13 forwards. Then there's one spot for that enforcer, cause the 23-man roster usually is 14F + 7D + 2G = 23.
-
Definitely Smyth. He has some speed with that grit. Smyth - Zetta - Sammy Franz - Dats - Homer Clear - Drape - Malt Huds - Flip - Kopecky/Grigorenko
-
Welcome Igor! Hopefully he is NHL-ready. Homer - Zeta - Sammy Franz - Dats - Grigo Clear - Drap - Malt Huds - Flip - Kope

That Grier's shot would miss the net even without Lidström blocking it. Lets not make the happening bigger than it was cause there's no reason.
