Convince me why I shouldn't be dreading this series....

I think Detroit is the most physical team at West right now. We did most hits/60mins on the first round. 1. Detroit 28,8 hits/60mins 2. Calgary 28,1 5. Vancouver 20,8 6. San Jose 19,6 7. Anaheim 17,2 Besides, the Sharks won three games against us with Toskala in the net. And Nabokov lost the one and was pulled away from 0-3 on that 9-4 Wings loss. They are still using Nabokov? Fine for me if so. We lost two games with Osgood and McDonald in the net, so I wouldn't count anything about these regular season matches. The last match was in january, and we have changed a lot from then. Williams is gone = good, Bertuzzi is healthy = very good, we have Calder, we have awesome crazy Cleary. We are a different, skilled, physical, hard-hitting, hard-working them with better goaltending. The Sharks can try to win us, but I think it will only be a try. -
The guy is really awesome and what is even more awesome, is his contract. 650k for one more year. He should earn a pay-raise.

Everybody knows the feared line from the mid 90's from Philadelphia Flyers. John Leclair - Eric Lindros - Mikael Renberg Those massive forwards was feared and brutal line and we have same sized guys in our roster. Left wings John Leclair, 6-3, 226lbs Johan Franzen, 6-2, 220lbs Centers Eric Lindros, 6-4, 230lbs Robert Lang, 6-3, 217lbs Right wings Mikael Renberg, 6-2, 215lbs Todd Bertuzzi, 6-3, 235lbs Our guys are overall only 1 inch shorter but 1lbs more muscle. EDIT: BUILD not BOULD in topic.

This topis is just faking ridiculous. Hockey is a players game. Period.
-
Hmm hmm. What happened? The line was there and it was our best line.

Rick Wamsley From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, search Rick Wamsley (b. May 25, 1959 in Simcoe, Ontario) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who played for the Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues, Calgary Flames and Toronto Maple Leafs in the National Hockey League. Wamsley won the William M. Jennings Trophy with Denis Herron in 1982 and a Stanley Cup with the 1989 Flames. He is currently the goaltender coach for the St. Louis Blues. *********************** I'm just searching some information about Wamsley's sister's son. Is he a hockeyplayer and what could be his name?

Are you crazy? Maltby has been good shutting up the Flames top line. And also on the PK.
-
Yes, Sammy is important in that role now when Kronwall is out. But maybe we should try Lebda also on the point?
-
Hudler will be out if there will not be more injuries.
-
There he is doing his silent work with Nick. 13 minutes Icetime so far in two periods.
-
Drury would be the best choice. We need right handed forwards, when Lang leaves. Ray Whitney maybe? But I think our centers will be Zeta, Dats, Flip and Draper and we should get good wingers for them. Whitney - Zetta - Sammy Calder - Datsyuk - Bertuzzi Hudler - Filppula - Holmström Cleary - Draper - Franzen (Grigorenko, Kopecky) Maltby and Lang out.
-
Sign him. It would be quite right price and the cap is also rising in the future.
-
Sammy was on the point at Swedish Olympic and World Championship teams. Both teams won gold.
-
The sky is falling. Homer is in slump. We just won Nashville two times in a row. Who cares about some slumps then?
-
Grigorenko - Datsyuk - Bertuzzi Can't wait to see that line some day...
-
What is this "acquiring Murphy" and "three stanley cups" -crap? Holland had nothing to do with the Murphy-trade, because he wasn't a GM then. Just since the summer on 1997.
-
I'd like to live with these: Scoring: Dats - Zeta - Homer Calder - Lang - Hudler/Sammy Cleary - Flip - Tuzzi Checkin: Franz - Drapes - Malts

REally ugly. http://www.kuklaskorner.com/index.p...hop_on_hollweg/

I just hope that two eastern teams will move to the west, so THE DETROIT RED WINGS can move to the east. If Pens will move to west, it's Columbus which will move to east before Wings.
-
Grigorenko is a talented bulldozer. Short but very strong guy. I compare him to Martin Lapointe (without that fighting edge). New young "Lapointe" would be very nice to add at next season.
-
Some sources tell that Zetterberg is healthy? Is it Zeta coming back, not Samuelsson?
-
Franzen - Lang - Bertuzzi would be nice line with three midgets.
-
Dats will stil produce with Homer amd the second line should wake up with the new acquisitions.
-
No, Filppula is too good player not to play at the Wings. If someone has to sit, it's Hudler.
