Surprise surprise, back to the box for Bert...
-
Agreed, way to go and good on Danny for not taking s***.
-
Newfie power, baby! Tear him apart!!
-
Kill it boys, kill it!

Weak hit or not, this isn't football. There's over 80 games played in the regular season, I don't see why a 3-game suspension can't be the minimum for any suspension-worthy infraction. One game? Thanks for the rest, now Ilya will be right back out there scoring like a fiend from the next game on. *eyeroll*
-
My thought: Rest him vs Los Angeles regardless, it's just one game, and I'm sure we can win with him safely letting his back recover. As for the ASG, if it means his back gets buggered, I'd prefer he simply not go.

God almighty, I go to acting and the Wings to to s***...! Wake the f*** up, boys!!
-
Definitely agree, out with Kopergeist, he's been disappointing thus far, and the constant grit that Downey can provide is much needed.
-
Well, that ruins my night...
-
f***. Weak call...piss me off.
-
Way to go, Rex!
-
FFS, we've got to score on this PP...
-
Well...so far I'm extremely unimpressed...
-
I expect a lot of scoring in this one...I'll say 7-4 Wings, with or without Z Drake will strike again, you just wait and see, hahaha!

I actually posed this question in the GDT after the 30th win. It's strange how many ways this can be looked at. Take the New England Patriots, for example. If the Pats win the Superbowl this year, they won't be remembered because of the Championship moreso than they'll be remembered for their 16-0 season. Also, suppose the Pats lost that last regular season game instead, but went on to win the Super Bowl anyway. I think New England would be more remember for a perfect season ending with a playoff loss more than they would a close-to perfect season with the hardware at the end. The Wings have already set the record and not brought home the Cup, and the Wings have ALSO brought home the Cup with not-bad seasons. I'd like most to see the whole shabang here, break the record AND take home the Big Silver and really put a stamp on this season about how good the team has been and, with all hope, will continue to be!

First time in franchise history quoth the announcers, that Detroit has reached 30 by the halfway point of the season. So...this begs the question, as jinx-worthy as it is to ask *knocks on head again* What are the Wings' chances of breaking the old Wins record of 95-96? It was 61 wins that year, wasn't it? *thinks he has his recent history right*
-
Oh, and listen to those "Tuuuuuurcooooo" chants...
-
4-0!!!
-
GO DRAKE GO!!! Aww, wish Sir Drake could've gotten some more shots off...
-
SIR DRAKE!!!!!!!
-
Looking good after 40 minutes! Certainly good to see Z back in the lineup AND not slowed up in his return. Don't wanna jinx it, but it looks like we'll be starting the new year off right tonight, knock on wood! *taps head three times*

Way to go Downey and nice finish Frazenstein!!!
