Nothing to do with FCC. NHL makes these rules. FCC allows waaaay worse on television constantly. Think of all the 4 letter words you hear during hockey broadcasts on the rink mics. The players have a code of conduct they are to abide by, agree with it or not. If you want to blame a group blame the religious right for the pussification of this country. -

How can we get Doughty when Lidstrom retires. I believe Doughty is signed through this year on his entry level contract and may wait to try and get big bucks...will he be a RFA or UFA?

i was reading some Kings boards and they are nervous that he isnt locked up yet... whos to say he loves playing in a town that hates hockey? he could be the franchise d-man for the historic wings....f*** the kings . -

Im not sure what Liberal has to do with anything. Michigan has been a blue state for decades? As far as being grounded...Places out west (especially Northern CA ex. San Francisco) have been listed as the best places to live for years... I think he just knew he would never be as beloved as yzerman and he wanted the spotlight, i remember his agent really playing games with wings management and he probably had a pretty big influence on Sergei.
