Well you cant argue with his +- then. it is not ALL Lidstrom, definitely some. I think they just happen to make a perfect combo. Those 2 play against the best night in and night out and both have great numbers. On a strict numbers stand point he's earning his contract. Although if the cap stays the same i think the number of 6 million dollar players is going to drop.

he has a ton of points im not denying that. but to have that many points and to be a +4 says something, and its not like the Sharks arent a bit loaded up front.

Rafalski has 39 points and is +22 Chara has 40 points and is a +15. Brian Campbell has 38 points and is a +18 Scott Niedermayer has 46 points but is a -11 Dan Boyle has 56 points and is a +4 Phaneauf has 29 points and is 0 Ed Jovanovski has 34 points and is a -12 Wade Redden has 14 points and is a plus 6 Kimmo Timonen has 36 points and is a -3 Chris Pronger has 54 points and is a +23 ALL OF THESE PLAYERS make more than Rafalski and the only one having a better season is Pronger. STOP THE HATE!

dont take point production in the playoffs then stretch it out and assume that production remains consistent. he had 14 goals last year and 26 assists. i would propose those assists were coming from the talent around him. between 03 and 06 he scored 13 goals in the NHL. NM you are right he is amazing...

uh well...he's not very good that's whats up. He is in NO WAY a second line/second PP unit forward. His play is literally all determined by how hard he works, he doesn't possess the skills to just "turn it on". He's looked like hes lost a step from the last couple years. Whether he's hurt, or he's not showing up prepared is unknown. oh and making people call him "danny" isnt winning me over either. what are you 8 years old?

ill bet everthing i own that if the Caps werent a lock for the playoffs and they were fighting for 8th like we are he wouldnt have gotten suspended.
