not hurt. old. his shot isnt that hard anymore. that and the game has changed. point shots are not much of a threat in the new nhl with every team practicing blocking. they to start setting up that tip from about 10-15 feet out off wrist shots, but they wont and we will keep getting shut out. -
Ritola proved himself far more effective last night. If he can do it a few more times. youll be back to being a scorer in finland.

It was because he wanted to be inserted directly into an NHL lineup without having to earn it. Which is exactly what Leino ended up doing anyway.

He was as good as expected. He will hit the wall in the next couple games and take a week to get going. Then he will go back to being a good, but not great hockey player. He is not a savior for this team. To be honest i dont know if Franzen would be either.....

whens the last time we were on pace to be shut out this many times? i would have to think late 80s. which is crazy if you think about it.
