Defensemen are happy to let the line tire themselve out along the boards as long as they dont get to the slot. i think abby and helm can be REALLY good 3rd, 4th liners and really good ones (draper, maltby in their prime) are an excellent asset, but to pretend they are going to be superstars is a little crazy. If Helm could develop like Franzen and get more of a scoring touch than maybe**.

when you have an eye injury they dont allow you to fly for precautions. Being in an airplane can cause pressure changes in the eye. this is just being cautious. its normal.

The game where in the last 2 minutes we gave up a bunch of scoring chances. Lidstrom had to save the day because howard got caught way out of position. Once they started playing to score again they were frustrating the hell out of us. what game were YOU watching?

I would submit that we only looked good in the 3rd cause we had a team sitting on such a huge lead they got lazy. Once it was tied we looked like crap again. Its kinda like how the Lions look good in the 4th quarter because the other team just goes into prevent defense.

hes been one of the better forwards we have for sure. hes also been REALLY good on the point on the PP. so maybe you should watch more games?

They seem extremly unmotivated. I find myself yelling at the tv for them to skate. They kinda just start coasting around while the other team is going 100 mph. With the expanded roster maybe a few of our 3rd and 4th liners will kick it into gear knowing that Babcock will not hesitate to bench any of them. I can only hope. On a side note.... What does Sammy bring to the point on the power play that Erickson doesnt? Erickson has a harder shot and seems to have equal or better decision making ability.
