im assuming whats wrong is that we pretty much have a playoff spot locked up and anyone with nagging injuries is gonna sit and rest unless absolutely necessary. i wont be shocked if a couple more guys get a game or two of down the stretch here. at least im hoping that's all it is....Babcock said if this was the playoffs theyd all be fine to play.

giving goalies over 2 year contracts is scary. there really arent any dominate goalies that command inflated and overlong contracts. this one isnt that inflated (a bit)...but overly long...he had one good year and is pretty much .500 this year.

I think he fits our system perfectly. Hes a puck moving defenseman. Thats what we covet and groom here. So im unsure what you mean by not fitting our system...He's looked good for a rookie still learning the game. He has the potential to be a good 3/4 and PP threat i think*.

There are so many bad contracts this year, what is the one that makes you LOL the most? I usually laugh when i see 1.6 a year x 4 years for Boogaard. He's only played in 22 games this year. So if he makes it to 25 that will be $64,000 per game for a guy that averages maybe 5 minutes of ice time. Incredible.

Ive always thought part of his defensive problems lie with the fact he played opposite lidstom for so long so team will always dump it to his side, cause he isnt the perfect human, and he just get continually creamed into the boards.
