Manny Legace is signing a 25 game professional tryout with the Chicago Wolves of the AHL. He will make $105,000 which will allow him to sign with an NHL club without going through re-entry waivers.

Priceless. Atlanta is the team that gave manny a try-out in the off-season and waived him. My understanding is that his contract is with the Wolves, and not their parent organization. He could sign with any NHL club that was interested in him.

He gets it right if he reports it as such. Sometimes his speculation doesn't pan out, but this is a contract for 25 games that is already signed.

Here is the thing, my hatred for Suzi goes back to way before he ever became a Red Wing. Sorry you are taking it personal, but your team did sign him, and when you sign the scum of the earth, you should expect comments like this. He is more than controversial, he is a lightning rod, so..... there ya go. I would think many Red Wings fans also realize what a wretched individual Bert really is. By the end of the season, you all will be sorry you have him too, trust me. As for adding knowledge, if you look in the Saturday GDT, I was the poster who told everyone that it would be Conk vs. Howard in goal.

The Blues, while never winning the Stanley Cup, have gone to the finals three times, and have accomplished plenty. See, this is what makes you sound so ignorant. We know all about the past. I have been following the team since 1967, so yes, I know this. You should be very proud of what your team has accomplished in the past. That's great. I'm also a St. Louis Cardinals fan, so I know EXACTLY what it is like to be a fan of "the team to beat" every season. Understand, that when you have had so much success, your team is the standard by which the contenders measure themselves. The Blues have brand new ownership and management, including John Davidson, that is building a franchise the right way. What happened in the past, is in the past, it has no bearing on the future.
