4M for craptuzzi (wow i almost typed bert) and andy mac for weight kinda hurts me.. and i did not think of it until someone else said but what burke did was basically say bye bye to a young and talented andy to say hello to a teemu that realistically will be here for 1 more year even if he does come back this year... and going back to the craptuzzi thing again it shows that he will pay 4M for a washed up player rather then a little bit more for a talented rookie that had great numbers last year. I dont have a problem with the Bryz thing he promised him a starting position somewhere and i would rather see bryz be happy being #1.. And with the whole 1st round exit thing even though i was praying that the duckies would repeat or at least make it to the second round after the first game i knew it was over. The spark from last year just was not there. Beauchemin, Andy, and Kuni especially did not look the same in the reg season.. But all in all we made the playoffs so i guess that was good i would give Burke a Generous C for the season(maybe some people think that is harsh or 2 genourus (sp?) but thats what i think)... but he is a good GM I am confident that he will fix some of the missing pieces we had last year..i was actually hoping that he would of traded up in the draft today to get a real center instead of Mr. Dead weight.. I tell u this i will cry if he resigns dead weight.. oh and for the record i love having Schneider on the team dont know why but he is pretty much bomb hahah... so burke will keep him if i have anything to say about it... and at the beginning of the year i loved having bert also but then i saw what he really was a point streak here and there but just a complete waste of money that could of gone to penner... thats all IMO so ya...

i dont get is why burke is saying oh ya he is a vet he can decide when he wants to retire.. he signed a damned contract i dont care about teemu because he is a free agent he can take as long as the rules state he can (iam not sure of that time)

Honestly i dont think perry is going to ask for much and as for the offer sheets perry has to accept them as well but only time will tell..

cmon guys u should be excited it is the hopefully yearly will he stay or will he go duck event... Considering what happened last year if the ducks had to choose between the 2 i would rather see teemu staying so the ducks can actually score some goals..

Burke is a good GM i dont know about the best though... i have a problem with the whole bertuzzi at 4M thing
