all i have to say about the oilers is that they need to go in the bottom five where they belong O.o

wow only 8 games... i would of thought that they whould of suspended him for at least 1 game in the playoffs. But they give him a 8 game break and then 1 game to get ready for playoffs good for the ducks...

if he does get suspended (which i think he is) i dont see it being for a long time.. MAYBE 3 games at max EDIT: Darren Dreger from tsn said its unlikely Pronger's suspension will rival Simon's, however a speculated guess based on several conversations targets 10 games, which would cover Anaheim's nine remaining regular season games, plus one playoff game. i have never seen that second part where they zoom it in and it is clearly a stomp and is right up there with what simon did. All i saw was the first version that came out so dont be so fast to accuse me of COMPLETE HOMERISM

i dont want to see anyone injured. I am just saying i think simon's incident was much worse. And i know if i thought pronger should of been suspended i would of said so. Iam not TOTALLY consumed of homerness.

Well if someone is injured wont the NHL be more gun ho about suspending someone? serious question not trying to be a jerk O.o and i dont know if pronger meant to hurt him or not. (i would think not) and what simon did was much worse.

pronger did not get suspended because there was no injury not because of his all star status. If there was a injury there would of been a suspension. Like in the West conf. when Holms got hit if there was no injury then he would of not of been suspended.

it doesent matter if it was 1mph or 100 mph shot he shot the puck while the buzzer was going off (about a second or so) it is not like he started the shot before the buzzer. and who cares if it was at the end or start of the game. And lets not make a pronger thread into a "ZOMG GIGUERE HAS NO SKILL HIS PADS WON THE CUP FOR HIM AND HE HAS NO SKILL BECAUSE HE DOES NOT FLOP AROUND LIKE A FISH OUT OF WATER" And you dont know what he would of done if it was another player. Just sometimes man..... And i cant believe people are comparing this to simon's inccident that had to be at least 10000 times more vicious then what pronger did. :ranting:

Giggy's pads are legal. if they were not he would have to change them. Some goalies like small pads some like bigger ones. It is all about how comfortable they are to them. And i dont think that something has to be done with the goalie's pads or the size of the net. I dont see the problem.

Ya. Sometimes that happens to me also. Happens to the wings games and sometimes other games also. I cant be of much help because i am not sure what causes it. Just letting you know they are more of us out there O.o
