i fail to see why some people are thinking hasek did this on purpose and calling this a Unnecessary play . He saw a opposing player with a breakaway. He saw he was too busy looking down. So he went out to get the puck. He stopped a huge scoring chance. He did what he is paid to do. I am sure hasek wasent thinking *ZOMG A breakaway i am going to make him flip over me by running into him*. Glad no one was hurt it was a very cool thing to see . GET over IT. And of course if that happened to a wings player they would be looking for a penalty any other person would with any other team... so BLAH ... :lol EDIT: Horrid spelling

i think they will get rid of someone else Schneider has been great for the ducks and bert is looking better game after game. They should get rid of Beauchemin. 11pts in 29 games and Schneider has 11 pts in in only 14 games. Beauchemin is -4, Schneider is +1. Would be stupid in my opinion to get ride of schneider and not Beauchemin. and maybe some one else if just beauchemin doesent get the space they need.

hey.. thats exactly what i was thinking right after i read the story... lol the new schedule is exactly what teams with struggling attendance numbers need.

i personnaly think this will impact his desicion like he said it would... he may have changed his mind though,

o... so whats your job with the Duck's Organization to know that kind of info for sure. Alot of people including ducks fans (and me) have lost some respect for him. But wishing a injury on someone is just not right. Maybe it was to take off cap pressure ... probably not if you were going to make a descion that would effect your life and your family's life i would hope that you would take awhile to decided. Life and Family does sometimes come before hockey you know.. so there is no way ANYONE can be sure of the reason for the length of time taken to make this desicion unless he says so..

its not like he is going to contribute to their offense or anything...

i am sure he can still come back. I have not heard anything at all that suggests otherwise. As for him coming back I saw looking through various reports about nieds returning that temmu said that if Nieds comes back he will be leaning more towards coming back (back when he announced he might retire). I also read that he told a finnish newspaper that his desicion will be some time in January. But anything can happen. And if he does come back he will prolly be signed for the min, amount that is allowed (dont ask me how much that is).

i say dump bert if he comes back you guys can have him back... oh and u can take Beauchemin also...

with scott back ducks could make playoffs. To repeat they need temmu (or another goal scorer) and giggy to be good in playoffs like usual. If they dont get those two things they maybe make to 2nd round 3rd if their lucky. Giggy seems to play good for about 2 games or so then lets in soft goal after soft goal. Nieds will definitely help him out.

my thoughts exactly i will pick him up now for sure since i dont have alot of depth in my D also... Selanne has been even less vague, but had said that if Niedermayer were to return he'd have second thoughts about retirement. saw this in a old report. Maybe lightning will strike twice for the ducks??

/agree. Cant say i wont like having him on the team being a huge help in the duck's D and will contribute alot to offense also, but personally i have lost alot of respect for him. I don't think he had any right to do what he did to the team and the fans especially with him being the "captain" But o well....

he said he will be making a desicion this month but this is about the 3rd time I heard that his decision is "close" so who knows maybe in January he will say I will make a descion before next month. And i remember hearing or seeing somewhere that Luongo said that he is definitely coming back. Hope he is right . But still lost some respect for him I cant help it even if he does "Lift" the team... . *please excuse horrible spelling*

worst season start? anyways... 3-4 Wings win it... Markov with all 3 goals will help my fantasy alot^^
