iam sure it does.... Anaheim needs this year to find a scorer or 2 and get their defence back where it used to be and goaltending to stop some pucks for once. Dont be surprised if they dont make playoffs. I wont. They will NOT repeat this year iam sure everyone knows that (even ducks fans). Hopefully they can get some things in order for next year, its not like iam writting this year off but we will see...

very glad to see this happen. So now we have a better chance of seeing more eastern conference talent in action. I have never seen Ovechkin, Crosby, or Koval on the ice in the flesh so this should give me a better chance to see players like them.

edmonton is also one of those teams that is evil.. lol plus if they make the finals their draft pick wont be that good.. lol if we gonna have northwest Vs, Southeast should be AVS and Flordia.. Gotta include the AVS!!!

I agree with Detroit/Ottawa so far are the best teams in west/east conferences i dont see ottawa letting up. They will prolly steamroll the east and make the finals. And if they dont i will be very suprised. Detroit should make the playoffs easily and prolly get 1st in west again. But they will PROBABLY have a harder time in the playoffs then Ottawa. And hopefully Ottawa will not win cause they are evil. But of course it is way 2 early to say for sure. Detroit and Canes would be a nice one also.

It is always fun to wear an opossing team's jersey to a game. I do it with my AVS and flames jersey at the ponda.

thought this deserved a whole new topic....Don Maloney has announced that the Coyotes did get Ilya Bryzgalov off waivers from the Anaheim Ducks today. The dealine was 12:00 EST. They put a claim in yesterday when hearing the news that he was available. Maloney and Ducks GM Brian Burke had previous discussions about the big ( 6'3) Russian goalie in the past, but a deal never materialized. Bryzgalov was already in LA. The Ducks played there 2 nights ago. He will join the Coyotes for todays game in LA, which is a 1:00 pm local start. Look for Bryzgalov to start and Mikael Tellqvist to serve as the back up. Ducks play yotes on fri. should be interesting if bryz and giggy start.
