I'd agree with you but it was Bert's bulls*** penalty that snowballed into an eventual 5-on-3 that lead to the equalizer and totally changed the complexion of the game... At the very least, the game should have been tied after Lidstrom's stick exploded on him... I absolutely HATE to blame the refs, but I think it's very appropriate tonight.

With a big Wings win, and losses by both the Avs and the Kings tonight, the Wings currently sit in 6th place in the Western Confrence... Woot!

True... The Avs have a game in hand and the Kings have two... But we have a game in hand on the Preds too and they're only 1 point ahead... And we seem to be peaking at the right time... We're pretty much a lock to make the playoffs now and I don't think anyone in the West would want to face us if the playoffs were to start today.

What am I doing?!?... Fending off every dickweed, front-running, wannabe Pens fan that's coming out of the woodwork since "their team" won... Damn this week is gonna suck balls!

Well in all fairness, Hossa is one of our top 3 forwards... Z was busy shutting down Crosby and Pavs was on one bad wheel and still managed to be a threat in the offensive zone... One can argue that Hossa was never really the threat that you'd expect out of your one of your top 3 guys especailly considering that his defensive assignment was far less than Z and Pavs.

All I can say is that I'm certain that NOBODY feels worse than Hossa right now... I mean, for f***'s sake how could he not after losing to the team he jilted because he thought he had a better chance to win it with Detroit?... But you know what, there's really no defending his performace because it was flat-out pathetic... He wasn't the only one, but just remember that this is a HOSSA bashing thread, so what do you really expect?

Like it or not Hossa WILL take the brunt of this epic failure... It maybe unfair, but that's just how it's gonna be... Deal with it.
