Detroit needs to stomp any remaining life out of Pittsburgh in the 3rd. It's a two shot game and Pittsburgh had plenty of opportunities in the 2nd. Come on boys. -insert cliche motivational phrase here- Let's go Red Wings!

I really don't see a lot of people counting out the Penguins. Everyone knows it was one game. Everyone knows Pittsburgh is going to be playing a lot harder tonight... Especially the Red Wings. Who cares what the fans think, as long as the team is in the right mindset.

My guess is yes. He's been headache-free for awhile, felt good after practice yesterday. He'll practice tomorrow morning, get the O.k. from the doctors, and enter the lineup in place of McCarty.

Holmstrom doesn't need to change a thing. The only referee who gives him any s*** at all is Dan O'Halloran. Regardless of whether it was interference last night, there have been numerous calls by O'Halloran against Holmstrom that were obviously not interference. Dan O'Halloran obviously has a bias against Tomas Holmstrom, and anyone who denies it is just lying to themselves.

1. Playing every other team at least once should please a lot of people. It is simply unacceptable that each team plays 82 games a year and they aren't even against 29 other teams. 2. I'm not too concerned about the Europe game. Perhaps if it's the Wings playing... 3. I will not be pleased if the Winter Classic remains in the East for another year. At least let a team from the West participate, is that too much to ask for?
