I love how they give it to Crosby "leading the points in these playoffs".. yeah, by one, over Franzen. I didn't see any of this ass-kissery when Franzen was leading.. maybe I was blind to it then though.

Detroit needs a better offense / forecheck in the 2nd. Period. We did not sustain any control in their period. Let's go Red Wings! Osgood and Zetterberg were amazing this period.

Detroit needs to pick up their game. There is no arguing who has controlled this game so far: Osgood. Then Dallas in second.. The rest of the team needs to step up and start playing better.. more in their zone, not ours!

Compared to Detroit's 7. Except for the 3rd period, the shots on goal were even.

Dan O'Halloran will be officiating tonight so expect a lot of non-calls, waived off goals, and power plays in favor of Dallas. It probably won't be as bad as Monday was, though.

Detroit will definitely have to come out stronger tonight than they did on Monday. There is no doubting that Dallas controlled a lot of that game, which is anti-Winged-Wheel style. Let's close it out with a decisive win! Let's go Red Wings!

It's funny because he won't be back in Pittsburgh next season. They can't afford it and don't plan on having him back.

I am worried about the East because I don't have any regular season data to build confidence on so I am not sure what to expect. However I am plenty confident that Detroit would be able to come out on top against Philadelphia or Pittsburgh.

Everyone says Franzen wasn't being tested until Monday. This "bloot clot" rumor came out on Sunday. Grain of salt.

I agree with that. I am so happy that Detroit came out with the win tonight, despite being outplayed. That is a sign of a great team! Let's go Red Wings!
