Almost Game Time. Let's go Red Wings!

Will Detroit be skating in Dallas before the game? I think it'd be nice if they could get used to the ice awhile before the game.
-
Who cares. Anyone who would rather see a bigger paycheck than success can take a walk. Way to be sportsmanlike.
-
What I meant was, I hope that Detroit is not running around trying to get even with Ribeiro or Ott. I want them to stay focused and play to win. The Versus link should always work. It is Versus' official NHL stream.
-
I hope Detroit doesn't get distracted by Dallas' antics at the end of the game on Saturday. They come out with a full 60 minutes and pull through with a win. Let's go Red Wings!

Yep. http://22hockey.com/chris-drury-zombie-outbreak/

I enjoy the fact that Dan O'Halloran is one of the referees in this game. That just means Detroit probably won't get him. Jeff Carter scores. 1:1

Philly got away with one. That was obviously a goal but since you can't conclusively prove it with a still picture...
-
Go Flyers.

Interviewer: Question 1: What are your feelings on the disciplinary actions given as a result of the situation that took place after the game in Detroit on Saturday, concerning Osgood and Ribeiro? Bettman: What a great looking question. Interviewer: Question 2: ... The worst thing they could do is make Ribeiro's actions look equal to Osgood's, or that a two-handed slash is allowed in retaliation, by giving them both fines. A terrible precedence has now been set.
-
What a lovely precedence the NHL has just set.

You're right. http://d.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/2008051...key_mico119.jpg So he didn't break the stick over him, but it was still violent attack.

I don't want the actions that happened at the end of the last game to affect Detroit. I don't want them distracted. I want them to come out hard in Dallas just like they have in every other game, play a full 60 minutes, play good offense and defense, and ultimately win.
-
Inconclusive. The stick shown on the ice wasn't snapped in two, but still broken. I will give it the benefit of the doubt. He assaulted Osgood with his stick, his stick ended up broken.
-
Here's to hoping that it is just something simple and not post-concussion things. I am sure we can win the games without Franzen but I would love him to be there to play. He's such a great player. And please do not inflict pain upon Franzen in effort to keep him scoring. Remember that he stepped it up back in March, not the beginning of the Colorado series
-
I don't want this to affect the Red Wings. They shouldn't let Dallas goon it up, but they should not come out head hunting on Monday. Play the game and win.
-
Because a two minute penalty is really equal to a two-handed assault with intent to injure.
-
He did have a thread going for a Game 2 get-together... so I assume that he was at the game. Since I was not on LGW during the game, what did you guys think of Robidas going after Cleary (and even taking his stick away and throwing it)? I was hoping they'd get into a scrum and Cleary would break his nose again. He definitely lost some respect from me today.
-
I agree. The defense wasn't on it's game 100% today and Osgood totally made up for it. I really liked his performance today
-
Ribiero intended to injure Osgood, and broke his stick over him. I don't care if Osgood sold it. The intent to injure was there. 1 game minimum. I don't care who the f*** you are.

Hopefully Detroit can overcome Franzen not being in the lineup. Let's go Red Wings!

Detroit shuts Dallas down tonight. Let's go Red Wings! W
