Except Detroit, since we won the Presidents trophy. So we will have Home ice advantage regardless of the seed we play.

Detroit broke Ellis after ending his shutout streak in overtime. The next game he played, he let in 3 goals in the first couple of minutes in the period. I don't know how much confidence he'll be playing with. If Detroit plays their game (as said earlier), doesn't underestimate the opposition (as said earlier as well), then we shouldn't have anything to worry about.

I'm just speaking from my head here.. but by signing the pro-tryout contract, he forfeited his rights to participate in college hockey. So if he doesn't find a deal with Detroit, he'll probably be poking his head in come free agent season...

Ok, it was a bit of an exaggeration Thankfully hckypete96 shares a similar view to me... I've only seen him in a single game and he looked great.. but I would really like to see a bit more of him. I'm sure that if we don't sign him, another team will steal him though
